If they smell and look ok when they are defrosted, then I would use them....
I think it was thriftlady, that had as part of her signature, a while back, words to the effect that "frozen food doesn't go off"
Mind you, if they were off when you froze them, then they will still be off defrosted.0 -
General rule of thumb when I freeze meat, is don't let it celebrate its first birthday.0

We only buy butchers' sausages and as there are only two of us, we separate them and wrap them individually in clingfilm, otherwise they freeze in a large solid block and you have to defrost the lot, even if you just want one for dining alone or for a sneaky hot sausage sandwich snack. I think 12 months in the freezer is about as long as I would want to store them and preferably much less than this.0

Hi money savers, my cooking skills leave alot to be desired so i've been surfing the net for recipes which I thought would be easy to make  and able to freeze. Can you tell me if the following recipes would freeze well or not. I'm scared of everything turning to mush after its defrosted.

I have never made them but I think they should freeze fine. I may have a go at making some myself. I love winter and making stews.0

Don't know about the top one - have never tried to freeze lentils myself.
The next three would be fine.
And with the last one, that would freeze too but I would leave out the sour cream and stir it in on re-heating0 -
