Any reasonably airtight container will do or even the litre milk cartons with the top off and well washed out, If you only intend to keep it for a short while.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

I do this all the time as I cant make soup in a small pot for some reason, i,m still feeding the family who moved out years ago. Plus it,s handy to take to work. I use the plastic takeaway tubs, have to store them flat though, until they,re frozen.

Can you freeze feta cheese, and what does it do to the texture? I usually stick cheddar in the freezer ( comes out a bit rubbery) so I was wondering if feta was the same. I'd probably use it in cooking when I defrosted it, rather than on its own or in a salad. I only use it occasionally so I seem to end up throwing half the pack away otherwise. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I think the texture would change slightly but the taste would be fine. Just googled it and seems ok - here

So called because of its use in making meat kosher, rather than being kosher itselfAmazing what you can learn at the University of Wikipedia :T

ref freezing soup, make sure you cool it down properly, especially if you are freezing a large quantity as you can otherwise get warm spots which can cause food poisoning. I put a couple of ladles in food bags for single lunch @ work servings
