Its shortbread base with caramel made from condensed milk in the middle then topped with choc. It all goes in a traybake tin the sliced in to squares. Naughty but when its there its irresistable!!!!

  • Twinks hob-nobs can be frozen at the ball stage. Just cook for a little bit longer than normal straight from frozen when you're cooking dinner etc.

I can't make Twinks hobnobs because I eat them all the same day... can't help it.

They are nice but until I can find a way to make just two they're off the agenda.

One day I will live in a house with a proper kitchen and a freezer ... and I'll do a big cooking/baking weekend and make everything I like but can't cook right now due to quantities produced.

    :(
  • hi I have a question regarding freezing fish. If I make a fish pie/fish curry using tesco value frozen white fish fillets (e.g.pollock) can I then freeze this again for eating later on?

Is it safe to refreeze the cooked fish pie/fish curry even though I will be using frozen fish fillets in the dish?

    Many thanks,

    Hayley

Frozen youghurt is the best and most refreshing lollipop for hot summer months!! (and healthier for children then sugar stacked lollies)

Hmm, I just tried the new activia (that comes in see through round pots) and I think that is delicious and would make the most luxurious frozen lolly!:p

Yes! Both types work very well Freshen in an oven - or briefly in the microwave For best results leave at room temperature to defrost first for 30 mins or so - then freshen up.

Can someone please tell me if you can freeze fresh spinach leaves? We had to buy the expensive stuff in Tescos yesterday as they didn't have any of the cheaper stuff and we will have about half a big bag left over. I am getting sick of throwing stuff away - so if I can freeze it this will be great.
