Yes they'll be quite alright. Don't leave them hanging around when you get them out of the freezer though, cook 'em as soon as practical!

If you don't want to use them all at once after they are defrosted then cook them all anyway befrore refreezing some; don't refreeze defrosted raw sausages.
Apart from that they'll be absolutely fine.

Love them.... Great for making thick soups, butties and all other assorted goodies.

Never noticed a problem when defrosting, except to say when using the lower meat content ones, they can be a bit more dried out, but in a soup that's not a problem anyway....

  • I often freeze sausages, as they're a great standby to have in

I'll add this to the Freezing QQ thread.

hello, I'm going to make some biscuits later, but won't want them all at once ( well i might want them , won't need them!) , just wondered, can i freeze them? I'm thinking it might be best to freeze before they go in the oven - ie just freeze half of the mixture? should i form it into biscuit shapes first? or can i freeze the "finished product"?!!

    TIA!

Was thinking of buying a molon, pineapple, apples, oranges, grapes, kiwis etc & making an enormous fruit salad to take a portion to work each day.

But there is no way it will stay fresh for the week.

    Can you freeze fruit salad?
