yup, you can freeze it fine (just not in the glass jar)!0

I have frozen glass jars (previously holding baby food or mustard) of home made pesto with no problem0

If it is successful, perhaps you'd be kind enough to post your recipe - I make ordinary courgette cake which is SCRUM and freezes very well (though it does go a bit crumbly) but I feel I could fancy a chocolate version...0

...and you're giving me ideas here...
- ie, in my case, make that having the cake made with carob (instead of chocolate) and honey (instead of sugar).
I think that might be RATHER nice:D - and will now go off to contemplate whether that would be edible straight from the freezer (errr...probably...to someone like myself who likes things that way....:o) and the temptation would be too much for me....:o0 -

I tend to buy sainsburys basics curry sauce, use half the jar for two portions of chicken curry, then pop some cooked chicken in the jar with the leftover sauce and chuck the jar in the freezer! Seems to work fine, I've only defrosted it naturally rather than in the microwave.0

If you want to save a bit of space in the freezer, spoon the remaining sauce into a ziplock bag, then flatten out (removing excess air) before laying it flat to freeze. You can then stand them up in a row in an old ice cream tub. I do this with all my left over sauces - curry included.0

love it....freezer space seriously limited in my house, thanks for this!
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0
