  • Yes, I cook a gammon joint once a month, freeze it in sliced portions and use for sandwiches throughout the month. Much cheaper than the hand carved packs of ham in Mr T's.

    Hi all...
I have just found some bacon in fridge, date of 28th feb. If I whack it in the freezer, do you think it will be ok bearing in mind it is a couple of days out of date?
    Hope so...???

Donner smell it first. If it smells ok it will be fine to freeze and reuse.

It should be OK. See here:-

Creme fraiche based sauces - ok to freeze?

I'll also move your post to our Quick Questions on Freezing thread.

    Hi

Just a quick question. I've just found enough stale ish bread at the bottom of the bread bin to make 2 bread puddings. Never made one before but thought I'd be all old style and waste not want not.

But would I be able to freeze one once it's cooked?
