NO! You can't reheat something meaty/fishy that has been reheated already, unless you have booked a space in the bathroom in case you're taken ill!

Oh dear, two very conflicting answers!

Maybe i shouldn't risk it... but I hate wasting food :(

I would, I don't think there are many bugs that can survive boiling point! please correct me if I'm wrong, However if it is growing I wouldn't re heat as the spores could be bad for you, and the toxins produced may not be destroyed

    Hi JulieG

well done on searching:j The thread you mention does cover how many times you reheat chicken - although you're right, it's mainly about reheating in the first instance

I've had chicken reheated twice in the past and each time it's made me violently sick, my body doesn't seem to be able to cope with it! You know the risks - let us know what you do and ill merge this later

  • Well I have decided to risk it...!

Tomorrow I will bring in a portion and just heat half at a time, so if I want more I can... if not... it will keep safer :D

Thank you all for all your advice, much appreciated x

  • Quick question.
Last week whilst cooking baked potato's I did extra and froze them.
First time Ive tried this having read it somewhere on here !
I guess I probably should have took them out of the freezer this morning to allow to defrost but I forgot.
How long should I cook for from frozen and on what gas mark ?
  • Well aint these "quick question" threads great !
I could still be sat here 25hrs later with a couple of frozen spuds in my hand............
