Can I leave his portion in the pan with the sauce then heat it through when he gets in? I'm never quite sure when it comes to reheating cooked meat and don't want to make him ill :o

That's what I do :) As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the exisitng thread to keep ideas together.

I am always reheating pasta... I thought it was just rice you had to be really careful with?

No, its rice you have to be careful with. I would just let it cool down naturally and leave it covered on the side.

Make sure its covered with a sauce, and cover it when reheating in the microwave.

  • Good tip about the microwave...re-heating in an oven is timely and makes it dry out more!
