M&S Sale (merged threads) further reductions online now

quite a lot of stuff in my local store still today well reduced...but not quite down to the bargain basement prices they sometimes employ to empty the shelves0

Was listening to Five Live last night (up all night) apparently there is a shortage of clothes with all retailers who buy goods from China. The EU & China arranged quota levels over one weekend then brought the quotas into force within a month. All retailers that couldn't get their products within that time into Europe have had them embargoed. This may be why we aren't seeing such good sales - if they sell out all the products they may end up with empty shelves.0

They've sneaked some further reductions in this morning. I say "sneaked" because us M&S sale experts know that further reductions only happen on a Thursday. How dare they!!
Lots of stuff down to £5 but limited on sizes.0 -
There are lots of shoes reduced to a fiver - and even better:
Spend £50 on any combination of footwear & bags & save £10 *** code removed by Board Guide (please see here for explanation) ***
I got 10 pairs of shoes for £40!!

Edit: Oops, sorry, forgot about the codes thing. You can find it when you look at the shoes anyway!0 -

In my local branch there was loads of size 8 and 10s, I didn't pay attention to the other sizes. Couldn't help browsing in the M&S sale rails - again.
The clothing rails were marked at £5 and £9. Ideal really as you have a rough idea of the prices before picking up the item!
Got a short sleeve pink tye die top with front twisted style detail. CODE: t41 2204 for £5, (originally £16, then £7). Very pleased, although I actually don't have any room in my wardrobe. :-(Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)

I got a short sleeved blouse (orignally £15) for £5 and a t-shirt for £5 and a jacket for £5 and a bra for £1.50. M&S certainly do have some brilliant bargains, but I'm not sure I'm money saving though, as wouldn't have bought them otherwise!!!Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0
