    Hi All

Joe81 - i suspect your transfer won't be showing on your Lloyds Account

I've done 2 transfers - one from Kent Reliance and one from Barclays. The KRB one still hasn't transferred over and i suspect they lost paperwork for barclays transfer.

I went to branch and lady said they're having a nightmare with upto 4 weeks backlog. She has also faxed the transfer form again to their really incompetent business center. Can anyone ever get through on phone to their ISA Center???

Also current situation is i've added this years £3600 limit and as it hasn't reached £9K i'm getting crappy interest. So once one of transfers occurs and limit exceeds £9K, will i get 6.5% on full amount?? Just annoyed that due to their delays i'm losing out on interest even though they will back date from date of cheques.

Does anyone know what address to write for complaints as their can't access complaints web page. Is this matter worth writing to FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service)??

Really hacked off with them at moment - what happened to them being a great british institution????

You cannot involve the FOS until you exhaust Lloyds complaints procedure.

Opened FRISA on 29th March with transfers from NS&I and Darlington BS. The NS&I closure letter came within 3 weeks and the Darlington BS was closed on the 7th May (30days notice account). Nothing is showing in the account at all, and to make matters worse, I cannot add this years amount until it appears in the account "due to the system".

One of mine was sent from Northern Rock on 1st May, still not showing at Lloyds!

Ah is see what you mean...I wasn't a Lloyds member before opening my ISA, so I havent got online banking or anything.

I will go into a branch and see if I can find out. Cheers.

Hi - i put this years allowance in before any money transferred from old provider - when i tried to do that originally there was a problem and i went into the branch and they dealt with it manually and then the transfer went through - maybe worth popping in to branch if you can - good luck

Thanks for the advice, but I've actually been in twice and each time have been told that their system will not allow anything to be deposited, I even saw the ISA advisor in there. They kept saying it is the new rules !
If I'd known, I would have waited until after I'd put in this years allowance!

I will be making sure I remember this next year!

If you've got the sort code and account number, maybe you could do a BACS transfer into the account from a non-Lloyds current account, see what happens if you try a small amount?

If it doesn't go through, would you be charged by your own bank?

17th May: Logged onto Lloyds just now and see that my NS&I money has been credited. Silly system states that it's a transfer but still thinks it's this year's contribution!

    To recap:

    NS&I closed 7/5, credited 16/5
YBS closed 9/5, not yet credited
Egg closed 13/5, not yet credited

Hopefully the YBS will be credited shortly (wishful thinking on my part though I think) to take the balance above £9k.

I'll let you know when Lloyds write to me to confirm the NS&I transfer and what the letter says. What I need from them is a confirmation of the interest rates that will be applied and for what periods so I can see if it tallies up with my understanding (once I've done some maths to work out what my understanding actually is)!

14th May: Logged on to Egg just now out of curiosity - the ISA has disappeared off my accounts list and there was a message waiting (from yesterday) saying the funds plus interest have been sent to my new ISA manager and that a closing statement is in the post.

So, all my ISA cheques should be with Lloyds now and Egg took almost a whole month, but at least their own rate was still half-decent!

I can't log into Lloyds at the mo as I don't have my username with me, but will check tonight and let you know if my YBS or NS&I money has been credited. When I checked on Monday night, it hadn't been.

I must contact Lloyds too and see what answer I get re when my 12 months is up etc etc.

    update

LTSB wrote to my providers on 7th April

Barclays Tax Beater closed (transferred) on 28th April

Abbey Direct ISA - not sure but no longer showing online so i guess it's been processed?

    further update;

transfer from barclays (£3k+) - credited 7/5/08 (1 month from request)
    transfer from abbey (£9k+) - credited 14/5/08 (requested 7/4/08)

not happy as transferred at same time so i hoped they would be completed together, thus getting top tier interest rate (6.5%) for £9k+ but because the smaller deposit (barclays) hit first it means it was at a lower rate for 7 days!!!

still none the wiser as to when the 12 month period starts/ends?
