ah you got a test then Laura, is that good or bad news?
sorry to hear about work Lucy, i'm sure it won't be as bad as you'r dreading but i know what it's like, i always stew on things and they build up in my head to be worse than it actually is. Good luck
Toto, i can understand the story board with your daughter, i've got to take my two nephews soon to have them measured for suits, now i know it's not painfull or anything but my eldest nephew has asbergers (sp?) so i've already floated the idea with my sister that if we take the boys with my OH and their grandad they can watch what happens first and won't worry so much, that and a promise of Pizza Hut will probably help.
IA any news on your FIL? i know how you're feeling my dad's been through this and was having more tests over christmas, it's like living on a knife edge. (((((hugs))))) for the whole family.0 -
Hi everyone,
Several of you need hugs today I think, so :grouphug: to you. I hope tommorrow is brighter for you.
I've been rushed off my feet today and last night, but not in a bad way really. Among lots of errands to run I found an old bank account that I've had since I was about 15 and not used in at least 10 years, and there was £30 in it! I got out £20 to treat myself... and ended up doing that with a 75p frozen pizza and 23p bag of crisps last night and £3 of lunch from the canteen today
; the rest of the money I spent on storecupboard groceries that were budgeted for
(and, actually, the £3.98 is well within budget, too). I really enjoyed my treats too :A
Now, I've a washing to retrieve from the machine and hang over the radiators to dry

We've been advised to create storyboards (social stories) for Ryan too, to help with situations he finds difficult. I'm going to have a go at that this weekend.
Sorry about the test Laura - you seem a bit sad it was negative. :dodgyhug:

just remembered something else, my sister once went upstairs because it was quiet (always dangerous!) to find a whole packet of towels opened, her youngest son had watched a program on professional cyclists and what they do if they answer the call of nature whlst racing, and wanted to see what they tv program meant! why is it always the little boys who feel the need to do this??????
