Morning all. How's everyone doing today? We're ok but Ste's dad is having a triple heart bypass today so everyones on tenterhooks waiting for new. He's 2nd on the list apparently so not sure what time he'll be going in.
Other than that another boring tuesday...

Hope Ste's dad is soon on the mend, that's quite a stressful day for you all ahead.

I'm sitting deciding whether to phone the EA to tell them we want a little bit of a higher offer on our house or whether to wait for them to ring me.

I've got the day off work so should be on and off here most of the day. Need to dig out the spare room some more and find more stuff that will never see the light of day if it stays living here and whack it all on Ebay so that should keep me busy! Also got someone coming to give my LL a quote on a damp wall we have in the kitchen but the last one only took 5 minutes so hopefully this one will be the same!

Hope everything goes ok for your OH's Dad (eek I'm guessing he's your OH!) xx

Hey IA, good luck to ste's dad, I'm sure it'll all go just fine.

I'm feeling a bit better today after getting a bit of sleep last night. Although I did need to take a sleeping pill because I'm a terrible insomniac and if I don't sleep for days, I can't sleep. But got a good 6 hours so I'm good today.

I'm planning on a quietish day, a bit of household admin, pick up Amber's medication and generally just hang about ready to troubleshoot the tour.

Morning IA, sending you special thoughtd for Ste's dad. Hope everything goes really well for him today.

Not much on today, my dd has a Pancake Race at school today so has gone off laden with a pancake and one of my frying pans!

I have just got out of the bath and smothered my hands and feet in moisturising cream as they are pretty dry atm. If only you could see me now...I have little cotton ssocks on my feet and i'm typing this wearing gloves! I hate winter, it plays havoc with my skin!!

  • I'm having a kind of lazy day today-got loads of little jobs to do-DD's room is a disaster zone so need to tackle that.

    Sar,
Prayers and positive thoughts for FIL.

I'm having an easy day today too. I've got a very poorly baby curled up in my left arm at the moment, with a sky high temperature and a nasty cough. :( So I'm pretty much planning on sitting on the sofa all day and cuddling her, pausing occasionally to post on here.

Hope everyone else has a good day, and best wishes to Ste's dad.

Positive vibes for Ste's Dad IA

Back from a fab weekend away in Alicante - it was 22C on Saturday!!!! Had a great time and was great to get away and do noting but just sit and watch the world go around. It is also a lot easier to be DFW as it is so much cheaper. Except for the Diamond Ring that I wnted to buy - but didn't!!!

Would highly recommend it and the hotel we stayed in. All in all hotels and flights cost us £170 and the hotel was increadible.

Hope everyone has a good day - just need to get my head around to being home!!

How do you make pancakes (so I don't have to go to Asda and ruin my NSD buying mix!)??
