  • Hi Sally - no, at the Adult Ed. centre in Poole. It is 10 weeks (I think) every Tuesday night for 3 hours starting in April. If I pass (it is a City and Guilds) there is a second half to it but I think from reading the form I have to have found 30 hours of teaching to progress.

It's a big leap of confidence for me. Won't bore you but I had a really bad experience at work and I was basically shot to pieces (not literally I hasten to say!!) and my confidence and general confidence to walk outside the front door was very low.

I'll be terrified if I get selected - although I don't know why - it's hardly a firing range I'll be up against!

I want to teach cookery classes to adults (or anyone really) so I'm going to give it a go.

  • Thinking of your FIL Sar, my MIL has to have major heart surgery next month on an aneuryism that is fit to burst and a valve replacement, so I know how stressed you both must be about this. I'm sure everything will be fine xxxxxxx

It's the start of Lent bunny, pancakes are meant to use up all the food in the house (more like an omelette really) and then you fast for 40 days.

    How DFW is that :rotfl:
