Morning all - Happy Birthday Churchmouse, and sorry to hear about Tru's piggy
Yesterday was spent wallowing in self-pity and feeling sorry for myself because I was so tired. I treated us to Chinese last night and had an early night catching up. Feeling much better today and looking forward to my weekend away.
Work is still very busy and I'll be going in soon to put in some extra hours, but I'll stick the WM and TD on before I go. Tonight we're having a quick chilli and pancakes for dinner - nice and simple.0 -
Morning all and Happy Birthday CHURCHMOUSE!:bdaycake:
Commiserations to TRU.
Well, windy and slightly damp here at the moment; it's not quite so cold, though.
Today's plan is more pottering and re-organising of paperwork and filing. My house is always a sea of paperwork that I never seem to get to the bottom of. I also need to do some baking and I want to sort through my clutter for stuff to eBay and relist some books on Amazon.
Unusually for me, I don't have a lot to say at the moment so I'm off to have a shower before I wake DH up.
See you all later,

Morning all
Happy B'day churchmouse.
I thought the apples I was buying weren't lasting long, everytime I go to the fruit bowl, it's empty, I now have the explanation. Katy takes a bite of an apple & then leaves it on the side for a while, if it goes brown where it's bitten, the apple is bad & has to be thrown away!
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Morning Everyone
Post 17 (at least) and it is only 6.20 am UK time:eek:
Happy Birth CM - hope DH fixed your "be spoiled" day
Nothing much to report from DG land. With only the two of us HW doesn't amount to much as DH does [STRIKE]most[/STRIKE] well at least as much as I do, need to sort out equipment so can maybe do some baking here, in winter only - far too hot in the summer. The only drawback with it is that I am trying to diet and I eat it!:o Off out down the coast again for a nice walk along the front. Hope it dries up for you guys.
Take care

Happy Birthday Churchmouse!!
At work again - I feel like I live here at the moment!!!
Haven't done my daily clicks yet, but must remember to do so. Sent the cheque off for the ebay win yesterday afterwork. Got 6p in change for the stamps to that went in the penny and 5p jars.
Did anyone see Dispatches last night showing how some of our elderly live? I thought it was shocking.
Had a lovely HM bolognaise last night and I think the remains of the Sunday roast will become a chicken and mushroom pie for tonight. Barmbrack (tea loaf thing) was made last night and a slice is sitting next to me in my lunch bag:D
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
