Morning all :hello:
Happy birthday Churchmouse :bdaycake:
I'm having one of my regular can't-sleep nights  Also my excema has flared up, that only happens when I'm very very stressed. I don't feel stressed, though some things have been bugging me lately. I'm lucky though, it's only on my back and arms and you can't see it (it doesn't go red), you can just feel it. It's very itchy and driving me mad
My little piggy died yesterdayI was checking on him every 30 minutes to feed him and give him a bit more of his medicine from the vet (he could only manage a bit at a time). When I checked at 12pm, he'd just died. He was all on his own, the rabbit had squashed herself into the corner, as far away from him as possible
I got loads of work done yesterday, I just have some stuff to post today and check emails and I'm done. Master tru ran out of clothes and so has put EVERYTHING in the wash at once so guess what I'm doing today
So sorry to hear about your piggyGrocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:0 -
Morning! (just about made it)
Happy Birthday Churchmouse, hope you have a lovely day.:D
Hugs to tru sorry about your little pig.
dlb I hope your DH starts to feel better soon.
I took the gilrs to school and then I came home and gave the house a good clean, so I'm free to spend some time on here for a bit.
We're having our pancakes as part of an American breakfast for tea tonight. So that will be bacon, sausages, beans, hash browns, pancakes with lots of maple syrup, yum.
I've got to go to DD1's parent's evening tonight and she's also got a music practice at church so it's a busy evening for us.
I'm in work for the rest of the week but we break up on friday for half-term! :j
Have a good day!0 -
Morning all............ooops...........its really afternoon !
Got up with all good intentions of blitzing the 'junk room' then get phone call from school................one of our lads was being sent home as he had a headache. (caused by him hitting someone last night and being hit back !)
He had to be taxied back as theres no bus service so there was 'third degree' from soc.serv. about why he'd been sent to school in the first place (how many kids have I had who swing the lead with something or other aching?), then I get the 'have I reported it,recorded it and so on.............course I have !! Then 'it's not our policy to provide taxis to return young people from school because they feel unwell but they would do it just this once !!'.........liabilty is passed to me ! Not allowed to organise a taxi myself - oh heavens no - have to ring soc.worker who has to ring someone else who rings someone else who then rings school and then rings me !! Never known such a carry on. Waiting now for argument to start between him and the other lad over mystery of missing play station games from the other ones room.....................so, just as well I'm not buried under piles of rubbish in the junk room..................or is it ? Maybe it'd be a good place to hide.....................lol
Oh well, there's always another day.
Happy birthday Churchmouse.,.................hope its a good one.
Have a great day all and hugs((((((((((((((((:o )))))))))) to all those who need themMary

Well, back from slimming World with my booklets - got on their scales, and I weigh 1/2 stone more than I thought
Think I need to read and get my head around it all, is there a Slimming World thread anywhere on here ?
Missed out the crucial word, hope you didn't think I meant half as much againYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Hi charlies_mum,
Quite a few people who post on this thread: Lose Weight 18 are following slimming world and should be able to help.

Just taken a leg of lamb out of the oven, smells yummy. Our friend turned up the other night, said 'can't stop, got you this, bye' and shoved it in my hand
Harry Potter is descending on Glos tomorrow, my cards are in a shop next to the cathedral. I'm hoping loads of people turn up to see if they can see any filming, then pop into the gift shops and buy my stuffBulletproof0 -
Have been looking on Rightmove and it looks as if the house next door might be sold STC.
It looks bad having three houses for sale on one small street so here's hoping that with one already sold, and next door (hopefully) sold, that we will get some more interest in ours!!!!
Have decided to wait for DD(14) to get home before planning tea as she may want pancakes!!!!!
Laptop arrived for DD(19 nearly) so need to arrange to bring it to her in a few days."This site is addictive!"

Oh dear me...............all was quiet in our little house so I popped upstairs just to check on our lad with the 'headache' back from school. (Other lad had gone out and no arguments about playstation games).
I knocked on the lad's door assuming he's asleep/resting (which is what I'd suggested he do) to make sure he was ok, did he need anything at all etc. and bless me ..............he's escaped !!!! Can't have got through the window up there.........he's a big lad and the windows are small..........must have sneaked out when I was in the loo or on the phone. Phoned our other lad at his mates and he said he's seen him walking into town............bet he's got on the bus to his Mums.............though can't see how cos he's got no money -least not that I know of.
Oh eck.............here we go again..........
Quick update............just had phone call from the oldest lad.......'headache' boy has been found............headache gone apparently and he's with the older lad round his mates.........phew ! relief !Mary
