Be careful with this. Even with the various offers they (always) have on, Carpetright (or should that be Carpetwrong?!) can still be more expensive!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

    Hi

I've just had my hall laminated + 2 sets of stairs, landing and our new loft room carpeted by them and not had any problems. The salesman was helpful and knocked off the delivery charge as the order came to over £1000.

I got an extra 10% off by registering online and it was accepted with the 60% & 20% offer.

Yes, but their prices are discounted from a price that they dreamed up specially to take the discounts off in the first place.

    Have to agree,
We recently compared prices for a carpet between them, Allied, and a local independant dealer.
Even with all discounts considered, amazingly the local dealer came out at nearly half the price.

If they're fitting it, they shouldn't be charging for delivery in the first place.

Carpetright are like DFS always claiming ridiculous discounts-Debenhams worked out cheaper! and Nectar points!
  • Well I was delighted with carpetright so far I had my whole house done in the same carpet. I picked the best I could affors and then even managed to haggle a little. The fitter was brilliant and did a very good job. Didnt have the extra charges for delivery. That was from Elgin Carpetright.

Carpetright in Auldhouse Glasgow were brilliant too just bought some off cuts for my new flat and they still managed to give me something off. Done my kitchen, bathroom and living room for less than £45. Brilliant. Oh fitted it myself- hmmmmmmm.

As others have said, the reason they can give you 'something off' is because their initial prices are so ridiculously inflated!

BTW, do your kitchen, bathroom and living room have two layers of carpets?!!

  • I read greytroots post as done whole house with carpet right and bought off cuts for a new home as a different branch too......
