bargainaholic wrote:I've always used the money off codes rather than the extra points coupons before, but the money off ones seem to be drying up. I've banked a couple of 1,500 extra points codes, but can't establish their monetary value - is it £15 worth? The Tesco website only says you earn 1 point for every pound spent. I can't see it written anywhere what a point is worth. Can anyone tell me please?
1500 points are worth £15.00 in clubcard vouchers which you can spend in Tesco or are worth £60 in clubcard deal tokens. 1 point is worth 1p instore
Also remember the website will ALWAYS use money off banked codes before any points ones so if you want to use your points ones instead you will need to empty your code bank of the money off ones0 -

You need to get on the phone to CS! I can't believe the driver wouldn't take them back - it's not what you ordered and you shouldn't have to accept them.
I hope you get somewhere with the email, but I really would phone them too (sooner rather than later) and get them to have a word with the driver as I really can't see that he can refuse to take things back, after all do you get staff following you round in the Tesco's stores to make sure you don't change your mind and put things back on the shelf??
Good Luck!
Hi,
managed to get a reply after several emails back and forth, they said anythin over 10 is bulk order! then in another email they said for gesture of goodwill they will reimburse my cc the delivery charge, so got what i wanted, am angry they didnt say anything about the driver not taking them back when i refused, but thats that! im happy with the outcome. Just dont know wether to use them again.

I went through the Tesco online checkout tonight. The site automatically used one of my stored codes as usual, however I got a red message at the top about Terms and Conditions of codes, I have never seen it before. I then read it, it mentions about the right to use an eCoupon is personal to the original receipient and may not be transferred. eCoupons distributed or circulated without the written approval of Tesco, for example on an Internet message board or on a "bargains" website, are not valid for use and may be refused or cancelled.
I am getting worried, did I just hit the wrong button which bought up these terms and conditions or has anybody else had this appear automatically. I have got used to the discounted shopping and do not want them to terminate my account. No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -
Spender - that is the reason that people have to post the origins of codes on the site - codes on leaflets etc, are available to all, so shouldn't be a problem.

Do you think we could have a sticky for Tesco wine and other extra stores codes only? as they tend to get posted in the grocery only section and get lost in the midst of all the tonnes of £5 off codes. Don't know if this is where to ask but I suppose it can always get moved
Didn't want to post in the Tesco codes only bit
