Just had my order from Tesco delivered to find that although the voucher had been credited at the checkout, when the delivery came at the bottom of the advice note it said that on this occasion it could not be used because the total had gone below the £75 limit! Anyway i told the driver to load everything back on the van and i was not accepting the delivery. He started to reload it and i phoned customer services who promised me they would credit my account with £10 as an apology! What a bonus, just goes to show that complaining goes a long way... Power to the customer! :rotfl:

Hi just got my order tonight and when i placed my order i used the code for 1500 points which went through at checkout order over £100 but on delivery because the bogofs took my total to below £100 the advice note said i could not use the code at this time as order below £100 limit. These extra points codes have always been accepted before as long as total before bogofs was above the min spend limit. This is the first time i have had this problem has anyone else had trouble with the extra points codes recently.

Hi - you should post this in the codes only thread as it will get lost amongst all the discussion
  • Something else I noticed recently too is that they're no longer allowing tobacco products to count towards you minimum spend for a voucher. I've always had a small pack of tobacco with my weekly shopping and never had any problem with the vouchers before, but a recent order arrived and the voucher hadn't been honoured at the till, yet it went through online ok, so I called CS and they said it was because I was just under the £75 minimum when the tobacco had been discounted. She said people had been abusing the system to buy large quantities of alcohol and cigarettes so they were clamping down now :(

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to recredit you when they've not taken a voucher off on delivery. I had an order last Tuesday, and they didn't take the voucher off at the time of delivery, although my order was well over the threshold  CS said they'd credit it, but nothing as yet

Hi, this has happened to me a few times. From memory, it normally takes about 3 - 4 days for me (could depend on your bank??). I'd leave it another 2 or 3 days, then give them another ring.icon7.gif

    MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS

Points go on your balance around a week after the closing date for that particular code.
