Hi Journ, thank you for your kind thoughts

I wnated to SCREAM today! The insurance company told me that my car was being repaired at their local garage and they could not tell me how long the repairs would take. So, i called the garage myself and they have NO record of my car at all!

I was SO frustrated that they are being so slack.

The lady from the garage rang me back and told me that she would arrange for the car to be bought into the garage tomorrow.

I had a viewing today and apparently they really liked the place so the agents told me. I was thinking that Reeds Rains are very pricey but at least i will be out of here for good then and after 6-9 months i will go with another agent.

How are you Journ? hope that you are ok.

Its so frustrating that these people just waltz in and take yor property and security.

Also i m having a new door coming on tuesday, u upvc one so that is better too.

The estate agents said they will call me tomorrow as the prospective tenants are seeing another house tomorrow.

Will let you kno how i get on.

hi angeli live in manchester also and the same thing happened to me and my family early hours of boxing day while we were asleep. we dint realise till we got up the next morning they took the kids christmas money amongst other small electricals handbag with all my cards and the keys for a courtesy car we had as ours was in an accident. needless to say the car was found the corner also undriveable. the police turned up about 45 mins after a phoned them told me that 2 other houses had been burgled the same night and i was the worst. we dont have anywere else to go so my lanlord and partner but bars up at the windows as far as the police go they are a waste of time

You know what i think of theses s**** for what they have put you though :mad: I'm sorry the insurance is not given you a new car , I bet you don't want to drive it after theses s**** have been in.

I just wanted so say that I am so sorry for what happened to you. You did exactly the right thing, locking yourself in the bathroom. I suggest that you find a good locksmith and get them to give your place a check, my local locksmith was very helpful and it gave me peace of mind that I have the best security possible.

Hi journ, thanks so much for the messages and kind words.

Well my house is with 3 letting agents so i will chase them up tomorrow.

Been a bit low these past few days. Also saw the car on friday
Loss adjuster came today
having new door fitted tomorrow.

Up at 4 am today to make the journey back from my parents and i am seriously tired now. Mentally and physically.

My brother still not even bothered to call or text it really makes me feel upset as when he was very big before he lost weight, i was with him every step of the way to support him and through loads of other stuff,

Really need my luck to change.

Hi angel ive been reading through the thread to see how you've got on im sorry to hear that you still aren't 100%, as for your brother thats normal i helped my brother all the time until the other week when we exchanged a few words and he attacked me now i dont have a brother my mum still kisses his backside though.

make sure you take your kettle upstairs too i know that sounds crazy but ive been reading stories where they break in boil your kettle and if you tackle them they throw the hot water at you.

Hi goingtodie_rich that is a really good idea, i never thought i would say that! I already sleep with a sharp kitchen implement under my pillow, hammer is a good idea, will take it up with me tonight.

Look at me up at 4am and still awake as i hate to admit but am scared to go to sleep, how frustrating that those mindless thick idiots make me feel like this.

Stephb1986, thanks, are you ok? i cannot believe that he attacked you? Its kind of the same as my parents who are amazing to me still do behave well with my brother, he doesnt even feel like one though and we used to be so close that i would talk to him more than once a day... anyway i am sure that someone up there doesnt like me! Had a shi* time last year and i really though this year would be better for me and now all this rubbish.

Sorry i am moaning now.
