I discovered car boot sales a few weeks ago. DD asked me to go to one with her, so I tagged along, never bothered with them before.
    Boy was I missing out:p

My first one I got some genuine old tupperware for 20p & 50p, various pieces & I was delighted with them.

The next week was a wash out - rain & they weren't running.

    This week:j:j:j:j:j

Went to four:o:o:o:o:o All one after the other, all in a circle so wasn't that far.

First one I got a nice tupperware pot for 50p:T
Second one I got a pizza stone (I was thinking out buying one anyway) in a boxed gift set from Boots for £1:D:D:D:D:D:D
The third one a lady had had a tupperware clearout & I got various bit for 20p each:T
The last one (& nearest) well:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
    I got a Magimix 3000 for £5:j:T:eek::j:beer::money:

I need a manual, I can buy one online for about £4 plus P&P, I've looked to download & I can't find one. So excited I want to know what the bits are now:o:o:o:o:o:o

Just wanted to spread the word that car boot sales have fantastic bargains of tupperware & stuff.

    Yeah, I found that one.

For some strange reason they don't have a manual for the 3000:(

Magimix have manuals on their site. I couldn't find one for the 3000 but if you have a look for one similar I would imagine they work in the smae way?

    Hi there,

I've got a magimix 3200 compact, which is the closest thing they currently do to the 3000 I think. I've had a quick look at the link for free manuals above and it seems to download the same one as I've got.

The manual has quite a lot of pages, so its probably best for you just to download the free one or order one straight from the magimix site - for me to photocopy and post mine would probably cost as much! If you get stuck though, do PM me.

It's just a table top one (gotten off freecycle - kind of like needed it)...the in hose doesn't work (anyone know how to get it to work else it's bucket fill) but just want to be sure of it...

The name is (depending where you search)....alternatic washboy (tefal) and it has a presoak and a soak a short (6 minute) wash cycle and like a rinse cycle but no spin. The water drains out from the back and there's a valve you let it out with @ the side.

Don't even know how old it is...any suggestions/hints on using would be MOST welcome

I'm going back 20 odd years here, when I used to have one of these. I can't remember mine having an inlet hose as such - I think I just attached a hosepipe type affair to my kitchen taps (I had this on the drainer) and bent the hose so it went in. when it was done I opened the drain hole thing in the bottom and let it empty out. The hosepipe thing might even have been one of those hair washing things you squished onto your bathtaps, but with the spray end taken off.

It was a long long time ago now though - but I do remember it working very well - this and a spin dryer did me fine - and that was with my washing and a baby - with terry nappies too.

One note of caution - do be very careful with the whole water/electricity thing - I used it in the (empty!) bath so it would fill easily from the taps and drain easily - got it wrong and gave myself a very nasty electric shock! (I was very young and silly at the time, obviously!)
