I actually found one on ebay (for £89 ) and emailed the girl for the instructions and she emailed them back with me with them in PDF for free :)...

Thanks for the advice on the hose....these are sturdy machines right? I think mine is about 12 years old according to the freecycle guy.

Don't worry about electric shock...am putting in on my dish drainer (when I don't flood the place) and the cable is really long...and when you consider most 'modern' tt machines just do a 1-1.8kg wash I think I'm sorted.

Spin dryers downstairs for free right now and only take 10-15 mins (for which I don't mind hanging round the laundry) max so like that's that sorted but I loosely wrang out a trial wash last night and put on airer and it's just damp 12 hours later... :) so will have fun...

Feels so weird not to have to budget for laundry credit anymore :). Praise God there's not much on my card :)...and soap nuts (cheap laundry - well I can't find cheaper anyways) work fine in it...you just have to hunt for them pre rinse..

My MIL had one of those about 20 years ago, she lived by herself so it was ideal for her. I borrowed it for a few weeks when my washer broke and thought it worked really well when used with a spin dryer, it managed the washing for our family of 4 no problems.

I just can't say thanks enough ubamother for telling me to get a shower spray to fill it. Got one on the way home from work and the difference is amazing!!! Beats buckets from the bathroom (past the bike) any day :)...

Someone on my frugal living board actually suggested I got one off freecycle rather than pay for one and so glad I did :)....Just doing weekly wash...figure this machine takes half a small basket :)...Have airer...Laundry room open till 8.30pm today...Have poly bag to take wet stuff down to spin (for free :D)....sorted...just have to do my ironing :)...Even likes soapnuts :)

Thanks so much guys for all your support....still feels weird not to have to think about laundry credit tomorrow will make a HUGE difference to budget :t (£10 a month)....

    Blessings

I just bought a Breville Hot Cup VKJ 318 (variable dispenser) on Ebay but when it arrived there were no instructions. Emailed seller but she said she didn't have any. Wish I'd checked beore I bought it but too late now! Wouldn't mind, but after I'd bought it I noticed a new one for not much more than I paid

I've tried all the links posted in this thread but no luck - maybe it's a bit too new? I've emailed Breville but no response so far. Does anyone know where I could get some instructions?

    Many thanks

    Gill :)

Just get a man to look at it for you, they never need to read the manual....;)
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!
  • I would ring Kenwood customer services and ask them. They'll probably have an instruction manual library and send/email the correct ones to you.
  • strangely enough it didn't occur to me to phone them, i guess i've got too reliant on the web!
