Never mind the more exposure the better. People are finally realising that house prices are well overinflated due to fraud and rampant speculation.

The more threads on this program the better.

    Hassled by housing?

Are you finding it difficult to buy?

The Truth About Property returns to BBC Two for the spring, and we would like to hear how your lives have been affected by the downturn in the property market.

Confidence in the market is shaky. The sub-prime mortgage crisis has blown in from America and the credit crunch has caused new mortgage lending to fall to an all time low. As a result, house prices are falling, interest rates are still relatively high and people are feeling the pinch.

Are you glad prices are dropping or does it keep you awake at night? Is paying the mortgage becoming more difficult because of higher interest rates?

Are you finding it difficult to get a mortgage at all despite the falling prices? Have you had your fingers burnt by buy to let? Are you in danger of losing your home if things get any worse?

The BBC would like to hear from you. Send us your experiences and contact details using the form below. Your details will not be published.

I see.......so they are only after stories of people with problems.....they don't want any success stories....SOUNDS REALLY BIASED !
  • Lets hope its a fair balanced view.....not just all the bad stories.....it needs to include the successes as well.

Only bad news makes an OK program though so I expect in to be REALLY Biased

Developers, valuers and solicitors come under scrutiny in Raphael Rowe's report, which reveals some nasty surprises for those who joined the buy to let frenzy.

    BBC1 tonight at 8.30pm

I see that Panorama don't think that the media are due any scrutiny by Raphael Rowe, what a surprise.

So if I wanted to make a program about cheese, I'd have to include all other foodtypes so as not to appear biased?

You will be sorely dissapointed. The program title isn't "Is there a housing bubble?".

Personally, I'm looking forward to some real horror stories featuring greedy halfwits for entertainment value.

If it was just about cheese, you would have to put it in a sticky. So that you don't scare people who bought too many cheeses;)
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
Read the sticky on the House Buying, Renting & Selling board.

By any chance are you referring to that certain Dispatches program six months ago.
To be honest, I don't know ... TV all blurs into one and I can't differentiate between programmes nor remember what I've seen. I remember content, not names of programmes or names of presenters.
