later this week, on ITV, Wednesday at 10:35pm, is 'Repossesion,Repossesion,Repossesion', presented by Jeff Randall. His investigations are normally quite thorough, and he doesn't pull any punches."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Bursting the House Price Bubble
An exposure of sharp practice in the housing market which has kept house prices artificially high and plunged some homeowners into negative equity. Developers, valuers and solicitors all come under the microscope in Raphael Rowe's report, which reveals some nasty surprises for those who joined the buy-to let-frenzy.

Hassled by housing?
Are you finding it difficult to buy?
The Truth About Property returns to BBC Two for the spring, and we would like to hear how your lives have been affected by the downturn in the property market.
Confidence in the market is shaky. The sub-prime mortgage crisis has blown in from America and the credit crunch has caused new mortgage lending to fall to an all time low. As a result, house prices are falling, interest rates are still relatively high and people are feeling the pinch.
Are you glad prices are dropping or does it keep you awake at night? Is paying the mortgage becoming more difficult because of higher interest rates?
Are you finding it difficult to get a mortgage at all despite the falling prices? Have you had your fingers burnt by buy to let? Are you in danger of losing your home if things get any worse?
The BBC would like to hear from you. Send us your experiences and contact details using the form below. Your details will not be published.

Of course, it won't apply to the properties of the people watching the programme... ooooh no. No, it'll be other areas, other people, other properties.
I hope these programmes are professionally researched and well presented and not just numpty fill-in fodder. A badly written and presented programme can make people think "it's not them, it's other people" and feel all cosy and smug again.0 -
