  • just been on the website to check out the o.o.t.w and noticed the digi camera, but boots.com doesnt have the memory cards you need for it, sigh

found an epson printer/copier/scanner but its out of stock!

still not well enough to go the actual shop - dont need any makeup so never mind that one finishing today.

  • Oh but they do.... (but don't let me encourage you ...eh..hem)

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1055510]

Scroll down to the bottom of the page - can I recommend though that as you have to buy the camera with cash why not go to a larger store and buy the card with pts instead? Don't forget, the memory card should be as high capacity as can be for your budget as it will store more pics / movie clips on it.

Good idea to print the web page if interested in taking up the deal.
  • whoops i obviously didnt scroll down enough

    thanks ;D

*enouragement is NOT required as far as boots or boots.com is involved*

we shall see, may get one or may get one for mum/dad when its cheap.

  • ok told me mum about it, she is definitely interested in it but doesnt understnad the technology so doenst know how it compares with megapixels etc.

the pair of us are going to town on friday *wooooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooooooo
watch out boots inverness eastgate youll have no stock left as me not been in for TWO weeks with cold* and well go look @ it. not sure how we'll managed to find enough stuff for the £30 minimum spend, but hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm this IS boots were talking about, its not IMPOSSIBLE, i reckon what i need in tissues, womens things, shampoo and condiitoner should come to about £12 *if i buy Toni and Guy on 3 for 2, but will have to do without T+G token if i spend £30 as then ill get the Total Spend token and not allowed that AND product token in one transaction apparently* so Mum will have to think of £17 worth of stuff she wants.

I've used loads more than one voucher in one transaction and had all the points/discounts fine.

Did have one cashier say...oh, I don't know if you can use this voucher as well as this other one for the same product (different promotions but applied to same product).  I feigned ignorance and said oh, don't you think it will go thru then?  Bit of psychology - challenge them nicely - they want to prove themselves right, even though I knew she wasn't!!

ps Glad to hear you're feeling better A.C. :)
  • I went to the Xmas shopping evening tonite - spent £50 to get 1200 points free plus the usual points. So, I spent £50 - got enough points/tokens for one of those free toys (altho they are not as cuddly as last years, or that cute.. :)) and then got the rest of my shopping with points - about 20 quids worth - throw in about 6 pilfered mince pies, handfuls of quality street, sausage rolls and a couple of perfume samples - well chuffed ;)

ps - mum had loads of wine but I had the oj as I was driving !
  • I'm going to one of those points evenings tomorrow night....can someone confirm to me that you can use vouchers that you get out of the machines as well as the extra 1200 points one on the invite.

You know what boots are like when it comes to these offer nights....sometimes they are a bit funny about giving away any other points.

Cheers everyone! Keep up the good work! ;D

  • Ouch, hoping accept vouchers from machine else my surprise for November has just been thwarted.

What I did not know was that some stores have already started their xmas shop eves! Sorry.

Anyway, the surprise (untested) was meant to be:-

Use T&G vouchers to get 200 pts per product so,

    Buy say,

    3x£3.99 Shine(t&g new range leave in conditioner thingy's) on 3for2 so £7.98
Buy 4x3 so 12 of these and get charged for 8
    8x£3.99 = 31.92

    plus

6x£4.99 shampoos so 6 of these and get charged for 4
    4x£4.99 =19.96

    =£51.88

So get 18 products as over £50 get 1200 pts
plus give just one t&g 250 pts voucher (gives 200 per product)
    so 18x200 = another 3600 pts

    That's 4800 pts on a £51.88 spend and a soft toy (10 tokens)
