Boots - Points Bonanza Continues... II

i ran into problems with a cashier once trying to use product tokens and a total spend token at the same time

so youre only supposed to either

a use the total spend token

or b use the product token

but not the two at the same time

well thats what i gathered anyway, i nearly had a right barney with the guy, this was last year and i havent seen the cashier since so he must have got a right earful!

im now paranoid that if i use more than one token at a time in the eastgate centre brnahc ill get knocked back - and thats the branch im well known in and a lot of the cashiers know me by name so id look like a right ploker.

probably get away with it @ retail park mind, they dont know me plus some of them are so dozy they dont even notice £30 minimum spend signs for offers of the week

anyway thats my experience. so ill either have to think of other things to spend on to get to £30 then buy the Toni and Guy seperately, if not ill only get the total spend one and not the toni and guy one if i attempt to do it all at once.

I have a spare camera voucher as not going to buy it -gonna get the sony one that I really want instead.

First person to send me a private message with the address details of where they want it to go gets it sent to em in post first thing tomorrow am.

I'm going to one of those points evenings tomorrow night....can someone confirm to me that you can use vouchers that you get out of the machines as well as the extra 1200 points one on the invite.

You know what boots are like when it comes to these offer nights....sometimes they are a bit funny about giving away any other points.

We went last night and got told we couldnt use the vouchers as points were getting added automatically so decided to go back on saturday and get more t&g stuff if offer still on AND just been on telly TRIPLE points all weekend ::) Now how would this work with 200 per t&g would that be tripled? or just total spend?

Went to my boots evening tonight....really busy, loads of people. Got all the bits I wanted.

Boots were really cheeky....they shut down all the advantage machines!....But I went into another local store earlier today and picked up some! Girl at the till didn't want to take them but had no choice as I wouldn't give up! Then just to make me even more pleased when I got home and checked my bill she gave me 2400 points instead of 1200!

got 3375 points out of the whole thing, not a bad nights work me thinks!!!! ;D

My latest Boots experience in Darlington wasn't quite a points bonanza but it was a great deal.

Printed the voucher for BOGOF on Kids Crest battery powered toothbrushes and had a wander around the store. Found some in the reduced section down to half price so read the voucher which said nothing about not being able to use it with discounted stuff.

To cut a long story short after a little hassle at the tills I ended up with getting the BOGOF on the half price items, total price £2.49!

Thats a couple more Christmas presents sorted! ;D

(I did check the camera out yesterday eve and I think it's actually not bad at all but I already have my heart set on the Sony - lightweight so easy to carry everywhere).

Incidentally, triple pts is going on instore as well as online until Sunday! Enjoy! - especially you lucky so and sos that have your xmas shopping eve on at the same time - not for me alas! Never mind, eh? :-/

well im back from boots now

spent over £25 AND had a Toni n Guy item included in that BUT no use taking machine tokesn as it was triple points so they wouldnt have given it to me

Still got £3.03 in ad card points today so cant complain

Didnt spend enough to get a camera token and Mum isnt wanting it so desperately now anyway - sob sob
