    Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!

First draft done - pretty close to the finished article I think. It was so difficult because it's going to be short-listed by the same people as the first one, and a lot of the job is similar, but i just didn't want to spit out all the same stuff.

Anyway - final tweak after work tomorrow, then submit online tomorrow night.

    Then the waiting game.

    Cross everything!!!

Thanks SMF......may know tomorrow how many applicants there are and so will know how much competition there is!

Don't know if there are any more internal candidates for the one job - everyone is playing their cards very close to their chest!!!!

I know there won't be for the other because I am the only one qualified, but I suspect there will be quite a large external field as it's a nice job, and although I'm qualified, I don't really have the specialism they want.

Going to not think about it for a while.....except would in interview be an excuse for a new outfit??? Would TWO interviews be an excuse for TWO new outfits?????

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................

Well, it would seem that there are not vast quantities of applications for either post - don't know exactly how many though.

    So that means
    • the odds aren't as steep as they might have been
    • it will be more shameful if i don't get one of them
    I am so nervous now!

I think they're shortlisting on Monday and interviewing for one on the 19th and the other on the 22nd.

    hi all,

hope the weekend is going nicely......glorious sun here in the sw.

need to borrow a strimmer - it would seem my back lawn has gone past the grasscutter stage. eventually i hope to do something low maintenance with it, like terrace it into three steps and gravel with lots of pots in a kind of mediterranean way, so i don't want to buy one. terrace actually sounds rather grand for something which is only about 9m by 5m.........but it's on a slope, north facing and clay. has nothing much going for it at all!!

nothing very mfw happened this week - counted my mortgage pig and the total seems to have gone down - only me and the cat here, so i must talk to him about that!!!!!;) not enough of any coin in particular to bag up yet, but almost there with 20 p's.

need to start to make more of a concerted effort.

Hi po glad you had good weekend, ours was expensive had to open a savings tin to pay for meal on Saturday but luckily there was £67 in there!

I like the sound of the terrace, I love lots of pots of flowers etc agree much easier to look after especially when working.

By the way what subject do you teach, I'm in Health and Social Care - teach everything from Communication to Health and Safety, no more group until next year but still plenty of marking to do!

Interview for the one post confirmed - don't think there's much chance though, but it will be good experience.

They're shortlisting for the other on Monday.

Interview date a week tomorrow I think!

Plenty of time to get really nervous and wind myself up into a complete state!
