Anyway - the good news is, I have come down from £15,000 to £13,557.52 in 5 months!
I'm very happy with that!
PO xx
Edit - having accessed it I find I have more than i thought in the little savings account that gets the share divi paid in - I will be over paying by £115 in June. I'm sooo glad - i didn't want to lose the momentum - miss one overpayment and you might as well miss another - so no excuses now!!
Oh it's fab being able to see your mortgage on line:j hey, how sick is that:think:
Well done with the over payments:T:T:T0 -

I agree - it's very, very sick, but hey what the heck! While I'm doing this (I have to say, it's the travel to see OH that clobbers me, not the overpayments) I can't afford to do anything else so I have to amuse myself somehow!
This week off I only spent £15 out for the day last weekend, £26.01 on week's shopping (big shop - needed loo rolls and washing liquid) and (the hightlight of the week) £28.40 on some root canal work!!! Grand total £69.41.
Not bad at all!!!! This week a tank of petrol and a small shop should be all.
In June I shall- finish eating the stuff that's frosty at the bottom of the freezer therefore cutting food bills
- start shopping at tesco's in order to earn airmiles for OH trips
- move my 'bill' money obsessively about in and out of savings to maximise interest (yup - all very very sick!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )
- not use my car except on work days
- shop around for car insurance
- maybe cash in some premium bonds and re-buy them as i'm sure new ones are more likely to win!
- Ex-DH is also coming to 'landscape' my garden mid-month (I'm paying him). This is a much cheaper option then getting someone in as I can labour, and also I'll know exactly what I'm getting and and can stop him when the budget runs out. Looking forward to having a useable garden.

hi po,
how's it going, have I missed the date of your second interview somewhere?
ev x0 -
second interview is monday......it's a lead TA post in the current team, but if the grade extra is as fabulous as upgrade we recently had i may lose the will to live! the much talked-up upgrade, was worth (wait for it!!!!!) £33.96 a month, and that was before tax  so actually it's worth about £25! i soooo needed the teaching job!!!!
hmmmmmmm
however, on the up side, BT refunded £50 this month that i had to pay initially, and i arrived at a £10 voucher on pigsback. won't mean extra overpayment, but i can eat in june! lol!!
Happy weekend folks!
