    Still on £9.90 for June Grocery Spend which is pretty amazing, because I haven't gone hungry! However, I'm down to half a sad-looking green pepper in the fridge, and some parmesan so I think I'd better shop tonight! The freezer looks empty too.

    Also need to fill up - petrol reportedly a penny higher than last week - nothing new there then. Suspect I may have to queue because of the strike.:mad:

    £10 waitrose/john lewis voucher from pigsback has arrived! :D

    still haven't shopped - my mum fed me last night!

    however, will HAVE to today............:rolleyes: the last hot-cross bun out of the freezer yesterday was defo past it's best!!! had been there since a long time before easter!

    have been reading the energy-saving thread posted on smf2's thread - interesting and i'm going to try some of the stuff i'm not doing, especially electricity-wise. must do more batch cooking too.

    going to try and have two NPD's this weekend too.

    Week's shopping £18.03 - brings the total for June to £27.93 which is good news. I've joined the June Grocery Challenge on the OS board as motivation - I have set a target of £50 for the whole month. Well on target so far!

    My travel expenses for May (which will be my July overpayment all being well) look like they will be £216. not sure if all of it will go on the OP as t.rip to see OH coming up next month, but will do my best. but as i've revealed how much it is on here, now i may have to overpay all of it!!!:rolleyes:

    thanks ev.....i keep thinking i should have writtien it in tiny little letters, then maybe nobody would notice!!

    still don't know what my new salary will be, or when it's going to start officially, but i'm on an interview panel tomorrow interviewing for my old job, and one other so maybe i can pin my line manager down then! best bit is we get a free lunch!! no sarnies to make tomorrow and an extra 10 minutes in bed!
