Impressed myself to find that I understood the two posts above!! I always was better at understanding written french than spoken, mind you!

Congrats on the job starting early PO - that'll help you along won't it. Like you say though, probably a good idea to take a bit of "time off" from srimping and saving - we all need a break sometimes and you'll end up resenting it if you don't let your hair down from time to time.

Honestly though, that's probably enough, it's taken me 5 minutes to put that paragraph together  and all because of the petite cochon?
If anything I say starts to make sense, PANIC!

Planning a cheap weekend again - just essential fresh stuff with the food shop. Also a no petrol weekend if at all possible.

I have another flat pack - shelves arrived at long last to go in my study - which I need to try and tackle. Can't find the courage at the moment!!!!! Also will be no excuse not to deal with massive backlog of paperwork once they're up, as they will be my (much needed) filing system!!!!

I have also finally enough coins of one type to bag up in le cochon......pity it's only £1 worth of 2p's!!!!! I'm almost there with 20p's too though. These I will save for my meagre September overpayment as there will be no travel expenses for August.

I am avoiding ironing and hoovering to save electricity.....and if you believe that you'll believe anything! Am just too lazy!!!

    Have a good weekend,

I only iron when I need to, and at the moment everything is stretching over the bump so makes no difference if I had ironed them - that's my excuse any way!!
