    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Hi all

A difficult time one way and the other at the moment.

Even so on the plus side i now know my new salary - it's around 2.5k higher than currently i think, so good news there.

Also ex-dh is here this weekend doing a 'ground force' on my garden - pity i ddn't get to go away for the 3 days to a luxury health spa, but i guess that's the story of my life - have been labouring instead!

Anyway - i hope all mfw's are alive and kicking!

Still debating what to overpay for July - will do some sums as soon as I get my payslip.

Have had a cheap grocery month - I joined the grocery challenge on OS and came in at £43.67 for the month - hoping that I can keep that going now.

Will update sig when all is decided.

July o/p is going to be £120 as things are tight this month - hopefully the next one will be bigger, or i may be able to o/p a bit more by the end of the month if things pan out nicely (but not very likely!!!)

Anyway, that's a total of £1405 so far, so i'm on target.

Hope all in MFW-land are well,

Been into the Halifax today and overpaid the £120. Will update sig when I know how that actually translates into the new mortgage total, but the OP total is, as predicted, now at £1405. AS long as maintain £120 a month I'll make my target, and anything above that will be a bonus.

The good news is also that my new job has now started two months early, although won't know exactly how that translates into extra money until the end of july. not sure i'm going to throw all of it at overpayments anyway as I need to start living a bit again!
