HI po, glad you're enjoying setting up your house - I love planning rooms and already have ideas fro when we decorate each room (which will be it many years time!).
I'm just getting ready to get rid of 2 wardrobes from our bedroom so we can change it around and fit in the crib for the few months he will be in with us, the wardrobes were left by the previous owners of the house so will stick them on freecycle.
Your over payment target is looking healthy - well done

hi ev and setmefree2
good to see you both!
i love planning rooms too - one of the reasons i didn't bring much back with me from france was to give myself the excuse to do that and start again from scratch!
apart from that it was an old house there, new here, so not a very good style decision to bring lots back.....
however, not a very mfw financial decision to leave perfectly good stuff there, but what the heck! i'm having fun!!!!!

My beginning of May overpayment will be £236, bringing my total to £1170 since I started. Will hopefully pay it in on Saturday. Does anyone know if you can track a Halifax mortgage online?
Realistically this will be my May overpayment - I don't seem to do too well after I do the initial payment. Even so I'm pretty pleased with my progress, as I'm well on course for my £2000 for the year - I may even manage to go a bit beyond that if all goes well.
On the job front, I have one application almost finished - will email it off tomorrow - and have set aside the weekend for the other one. Fingers crossed!

First application in - I think it's the one I want more, but it isn't as much money as the other one.
Anyway - I think I've had a good shot at it, and now I'm trying to come up with something different for the other one.
I HATE JOB APPLICATIONS!!!!
Why do they always take so long?
Happy days!
