My dh hates flat packs he gets really angry just looking at them and he doesn't read the instructions so is even worse! So I help him these days - harmony is restored!

the first instruction in a flatpack should be 'make sure a woman is on hand to help you'!!!!!
my ex-oh was just the same!!!!!

lol i'm more logically thinking than him but some instructions are as useful as a chocolate teapot - probably written by a bloke!0

Actual overpayment amount this month was £173, bringing the total to date to £934.
Should manage to stagger on up to the first £1000 next month!!!!

Went into the Halifax this morning and paid in this month's overpayment - got it wrong before, it's May's overpayment which will be the smaller one. I think i did a good few miles in March, so should get £200+ to over pay at the beginning of next month.:D
Feeling very motivated at the moment. Even thinking of applying for a new job which is coming up in our department, which would be more money if I got it. Only thing is, I know other people I work with will be applying too, and I'm quite scared of not getting it even though I know on paper I am probably the strongest candidate, because I have some management experience. Is a dilemma. I think I'm just going to have to face my fears and get on with it. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be!!!!!:o

hi
back from holiday late last night, love-sick and pining!!!! brrrrrr it's cold here!!!!
ploughed through and deleted 74 emails - most are things i've subscribed to through pigsback for points, and getting close to a £10 voucher from there.
but on the plus side a voucher for £20 from goldfish for waitrose so that's a week's shopping if i'm careful!
going to go on a real economy drive now to maximise opportunities and pay off the maximum i can over the next 4 months - will give me something to focus on until i see b/f again. he's studying at the moment so won't even be online much until after june 12th. omg! omg! do long distance relationships ever work really???????
anyway - i missed you all while i was gone, and going to catch up on reading a few diaries before i start my day!
have a good one,

welcome back, I really missed my dh when we starting moving to north wales - he was still in Bedford while the house sold and I was here with my dd who was 9 months old at the time. Ending up being 6 months in the end as the sale fell through twice!
I know it's not the same but we'll look after you.
