    Mortgage-free Glee!
Have found one we like a lot and another second favourite too.
We have seen a mortgage broker who says we'll have no problem getting the money even though Mr C hasn't sold yet.
I will be ringing the agent at 9.00 am tomorrow and putting in an offer.
The house is a 4 bed semi, circa 1926, bay fronted. It's in tidy condition. We would hope to put a second storey extension on top of the garage to make an ensuite and dressing room, and a single storey extension on to double the size of the kitchen to make it kitchen dining. We would be able to do the work to a pretty high spec for about £40k and would do that when Mr C sells his.
    Feeling very nervous today!
Shiny new diary on its way!

    That's brilliant PO,

Hope the new house is everything you dream it will be when finished. I remember the day of frustration when your fans were on tenterhooks waiting on confirmation that the mortgage was gone. Can't wait to celebrate with you all over again.

    Cheers,

    Billy

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Today's the day! Mr C is actually going to do the negotiating as he is capable of starting with a cheeky offer and I am not! I have a busy day in the office today so will be definitely having trouble concentrating and I really need to!
We have decided that if we don't get favourite house we are going to go for number 2. location not as nice/convenient but a lovely house.
