Galantvr4 - i think that Antheas programme has been dropped by BBC3....something to do with her age.....I loved it too and have the book, sure that some other channel will pick it up

DH gone off to bed in a sulk after trying to pick a fight and saying some quite nasty things. G*d knows whats wrong with the man, today I'm basically only after his money - not bad for being with him for 10 years. I'm not 100% sure that theres not someone else on the scene, it appears hes only with me as he knows I've got DS and I'm a housekeeper.

Gosh, sorry about all that, just don't really know what else to do???

MOGGINS!!!! Welcome home ((big huge hugs)) so great to hear from you! I've been doing my best to keep things going in your absence with the help of Pigpen and Michelle when I am very busy like now because thanks to/because of Flyladying I've managed to start my degree (and resisted DPs comments that maybe I should pay someone to do housework!!!) I can imagine the new job taking a lot out of you and hope you find a way to get the balance back soon.

Raphael I watched MasterChef too, well part of it, so pleased Sarah went through!!

Tracy, if your DH needs to go there (out of hours unit) then explain about little one, our local one send transport if required. [strike]Hope he's ok x [/strike]Scratch that bit, just noticed the comments about him being horrid, ignore him and let him sort himself out, can't be that poorly if he has the energy to make arguements! My partner makes similar comments sometimes but I don't tend to stay calm and do mention if I was with him for money I'd have ditched him when I realised he'd cost us more than the boys do, that I'd rather only have 2 children to clean up after, that no amount of money would forgive what he's done in the past, only love can do that etc etc....oh the lists endless when we end up on that route :o

Dusty - my sons old school allowed it one year, they filmed it and were going to sell copies at cost, until there was a massive issue with a previously convicted child sex offender arrested not long after who was a parent to children in the school, then there was concern over who's hands it would get in to, so was stopped from there. The whole situation made people feel very differently about this type of thing as it brought the whole problem much closer to home. My DS1s school now allows it after seeking permission from all parents, they have said they would let us know if any of the parents had issues with taking photos etc because there had been parents in the past who objected to having their children photographed by others. I'm unsure on the policy in DS2s new school because he missed his performance.

Erm, bother, I forgot where I was up to again. Suppose I'll have to get used to this not having time to catch up all at once :rotfl: :o Back from swimming, was DS2 for a change who was being awful (usually other way round) washing machine not quite full and basket is empty so happy with that! Boys rooms need tackling tomorrow for a bit because they look like bomb sites!!!! Night time routines next, something which is definately saving my sanity.

Me time, erm, I'll get back to you on that one, what if I make the hairdressers appointment this week and go in a few weeks?
One day I might be more organised...........

Oh dear, am I the only one who cant stand her???? Surely she wasnt dropped for her age? Maybe the fact that she is a patronising, condesending (sp?) witch?

Pink Fairy - thank you for the rosemary thought. I did think about it, as Nigella has a rosemary cake in Feast and I have rosemary in the garden. However, the lentil soup and cranberry and walnut brownies went down very well. Am leaving the pressie (champagne) til next week as cousin didnt want presents today.

Pigpen - I have spent practically all today on me time. I suppose visiting is me time as well? And researching my business. I spoke to a lovely lady today from the Childminding Association, so I start on a course next Tuesday evening! How good is that??? My plan is to be a childminder and offer child care for shift workers. Obviously I have to do a lot of research til I know if this is going to be viable, but no one else offers this in my area. There is also a shortage of childminders anyway, so grants and stuff available for me :j

Are there any shift workers who have had problems in organising child care? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter.

Bedtime for me now, although I need to pack for my weekend away as well. Night all xx
