Thanks for all your answers re schools and videos - I must be really naive but what can you do with a video of children completley dressed and often in masks??

Me time - had coffee today with a friend. Tomorrow - chiro - I actually enjoy it and feel so good afterwards, coffee with another friend and I hope 30-60 mins in the garden.

Not bothering with lists until after half term now. Winging it, hoovering, wiping what I can and I am good at keeping on top of laundry. Hope to get a few more bits on ebay this weekend.

    Night all

DH gone off to bed in a sulk after trying to pick a fight and saying some quite nasty things. G*d knows whats wrong with the man, today I'm basically only after his money - not bad for being with him for 10 years. I'm not 100% sure that theres not someone else on the scene, it appears hes only with me as he knows I've got DS and I'm a housekeeper.

Gosh, sorry about all that, just don't really know what else to do???

I don't know what to say tracy :( I hope he snaps out of it or at least lets you know what's really wrong instead of trying to make it your fault.
  • Tracy That's just men isn't it-struggle to express their feelings so just yell the most recent thing that flitted across their minds. Have a good sleep, if he doesn't appologise in the morning then you'll be ready to put him in his place!

A very late evening to you all.

No catching up on the thread again so hugs and hello's to everyone.

Been at work all day again and then a quick tea before parenting class. These appear to be having a positive effect this week and things are looking up. Tutor said he could see I looked a lot happier, I guess it is due to me changing as much as her, sometimes taking a step back from the situation and saying will it matter if she does .... rather than having a power struggle. We have also seemed to build up more of a relationship again which I think we lost for a while when she was 'daddys girl'.

Came back and did over an hour ironing for DS as he goes skiing with XH on Saturday, while he cleaned the kitchen and unloaded and reloaded DW bless him.

Still have a big outstanding list to cover tomorrow and the weekend but I'm chilling out to it if its not done.

    Morning all,

I haven't been wilfully ignoring you all, it's just I've had PC problems since last Sunday so I've only been able to do the really essential stuff like check email.

But, I am now the proud owner of a new PC which arrived yesterday and is now set up. We were able to save ALL the data from my old PC's hard drive and whack it on here so it's like the problems never happened - it's just I have a much smaller base unit so more space in the PC corner :D

But, in true Flylady fashion, when removing the old one and BEFORE setting up the new one, I did take everything out of that corner and hoover (or rather dyson!) and dust behind everything.

Will catch up with the thread properly later.

It's good to be back online

  • Too much to do and not enough time, I'm trying really hard this week to actually fit in everything I need to do by spending less time on the computer doing nothing, however I still have tonnes of stuff to do.

    Clean floor

    Study
    [STRIKE]Sort paperwork[/STRIKE]

    Vacuum

    Stairs
    Vacuum

    Landing
    Move the last remaining bits

    Spare room downstairs
    Stack remaining boxes neatly
    Sort room for L staying
    Vac floor

    Misc

    Finalise plans for the weekend
Stack boxes from rat room away
Sort out cages in time for the weekend - nearly done

Good to see you back Moggins! I remain very grateful for your original intervention, and invitation to join without which we would probably be still trapped in a tiny house filled to the ceiling with clutter.

Soappie - good to see you back, hate it when a computer dies, lost two laptops this year and still haven't got round to backing things up regularly.

Tracy - hope things are better this morning.

Lots to do today - once Ds1 has gone to school. Too busy going to work and sorting things for my business to get much done this week so today I am playing catch up. Also want to have a go at making Twinks Hob Nobs if I get a chance.

Need to do: Kitchen, downstairs loo, dining room (hot spot!), snug, and the play room. Our bedsheets to be washed, upstairs to dyson (stupid exploding nappies - trail of gel from his bedroom to ours).

Bin out, plus recycling. Clean the still not dead fish tank out. Half hour garden challenge (chickens have helpfully taken all of the detritus out from under the shrubs which needs to be composted). Wash yucky dog beds.

Get DH to do tonight: wash the yucky dogs

Me time? the garden challenge is me time. I actually like doing it, and I can go and see if my snowdrops are open yet.

I hope everyone has a productive day.

    Morning everyone...
Had a really bad nights sleep last night....
Hugs and hellos to everyone whether you need them or not,

I haven't spoken to DS about his detention and behaviour, I think he finds far more disconcerting than if I had yelled. I think I want to wait till DH gets home and we can discuss what we wan t to do. Apparently DS was also extorting money/ sweets. Saying if you give me...I'll stop bullying you.....
He was a bit ferral in Aus, the school there was a bit wild. I'd hate to think that he thinks this kind of behaviour is cool. I personally am mortified...

Have to do my list for today, but mostly its just children's rooms, dusting and hoovering. I'm not really doing any deep cleaning this week, will probably pick that up again after half term. I also want to list some things on ebay. DD2 and DD3 have put some bin bags of stuff in my room so I will sort through those and see what there is...
Right, going to have another cuppa, then do my list...

((Hugs)) to tracyg and frankiem, and anyone else who wants/needs them. That is a bit worrying Frankie! Although there is nothing worse than when your parents are 'disappointed', yelling or anything is bad, but disappointed always made me feel much worse:confused:
That is a horrible thing to say to you tracy! I hope he apologises:mad:

Pigpen do i have to do LO's room, i dont want to play anymore:o
