    I really appreciate it.

...and my wonderful children who kept texting me to check I was okay, and in DD's case, offering useful advice (eg bribe them with chocolate!).;)

I didn't get a call until after 8am, and it was also in an area that I originally said I wouldn't travel to, but the agency were so desperate that they offered to pay more... I would have said yes anyway, because I needed to start as soon as I could before the nerves completely paralysed me.It all went okay - and I didn't think I could teach ICT! Well, not an awful lot of teaching to be honest, and the work set wasn't fantastic - in the last group which I had all afternoon, half of them had already finished the level and had nothing at all to do - so they just played games on the pc. One didn't do anything at all except be a nuisance...after, the Learning Support Assistant said not to worry, he is always like that. I don't think I'm cut out for long term supply because I really miss teaching my own subject and also like to get more involved.

I got home late, and haven't done any flying at all, just the dailies. I'm really tired, but that is more down to being woken at four this morning as the rain and howling wind were so noisy, and I had to close the window completely.

Tomorrow our new and long awaited sofas are being delivered! So, I shall be concentrating on clearing a route to the livingroom, and shovelling out all the junk in here that has drifted in from the other rooms that are being worked on. Why did I think it would be a good idea to do several rooms at the same time??

Hugs to all the poorly ones, and those just generally having a ratty day.

Nicki - lovely to see you, and so positive!
    Toria - hugs for tomorrow

It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

Your front room must be a tip.. because mine is!! :o

Feel free to adopt it as your own.. I get bored silly knowing what day will come next.. I like change.. plus I think the element of surprise keeps people keen..

Tomorrow I HAVE to play super catchup though because today I've done very little due to school runs, ebay parcelling and posting and my mother coming this morning.. and then trying to catch up on the washing etc.

I need my bedsheets in the wash as well.. they are ickified!

  • I'm still around - been a bit busy at work, well manic really!

But tonight have fed DS pancakes as requested, bath & bed, then a mountain of ironing plus a few washes now hanging up to dry. Best go talk to DH now to remind him I'm here. :D

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
