Likklegibbon - great minds think alike except DH has been told to pick up a takeaway. Just feel so tired and I have the ironing pile for hell to get through too (must remember theres another load in the tumble dryer too:eek: ). So gonna jump in the shower and wash my hair and hope that wakes me up.

Anyone got any suggestions to ensure DD1 sleeps past 9.30 where she demands cuddles 'cos she is poorly?? I know she is but I just need my bed!

That icon is how I feel when i am doing the dishes the pile never seems to go down - lol!

AND I want a pic of the dress.. I bet it is gorgeous.. I LOVE 60's/70's clothes.. damn I'm funky.. and I hope you have the necessary wig to go with it? You are supposed to wear shorts underneath it

What sort of shorts? Tight ones like cycling shorts but longer? I'm wearing an alice band and straightening my hair and flicking it out at the bottom. Just need to get chunky jewellery and think about the make up.

Dusty and Shell - kids! Grrrrrrrrrrr! Half term - don't remind me! I usually love school holidays but if they carry on like they are then they'll be lucky to survive. I'm off to do my 3 x 27 now - fling 27, file 27 and shred 27 things. I'll be back soon if I can count that high.

Our pancakes were fab - not a grannies insole in sight! Vanilla ice-cream and grated chocolate on ours. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum!

  • Evening folks - no time to read the thread at the minute but hopefully will in a bit. Quite a bit of school stuff to do today though and not a lot of time to get it sorted, but will get myself into gear. Eventful day - our boiler packed in, i bumped the car and got stuck in an hours worth of traffic for the 15 minute journey home, crawling half the way in 1st gear. Luckily DH was at home when we got here as he had taken the afternoon off to be in when the boiler was being fixed, so he is now bathing charlie and i am recouping some energy ready for an evening of toil. I suppose i have had my three things all in one day though, and thankfully no damage done to my car. :D or the one i bumped into.;)

Quick list check then as i have one very grumpy boy to give a bottle to when DH brings him down, after a long nap in the car.

That's it!! I'm doing no more flying today! As well as crushing my finger between the wall & the ironing board, I've now also broken a saucepan while doing the dishes!! The flipping handle came off, taking a chunk of the side with it.
The kitchen is clean anyway, apart from washing the floor, which I *might* do tomorrow.

Can olive oil go off? I've just moved mine out the way to grab the soy sauce behind it, and there is a bit cloudy looking lump in the bottom. It's not moving around so must be attached to the side. It's still unopened, so back to Asda I think.

Lucky you're ok too. My brother's girlfriend had an accident the other day, some stupid berk went thru red lights at the crossing & plowed straight into her. Luckily she got away with just bruised ribs. But the cars a write-off.
It's the 2nd write-off she's had, neither of which were her fault!
