hey Dusty and Mudbath are you round at my house? I am so looking forward to half term next week NOT!
Still not made the coffee cake.
I have moved for 2 minutes so DD1 is being a pain in the bum. I know she is feeling poorly but my god she tries your patience. Nursing material I am not.0 -
You better whisper that resolution poohbear in case pigpen hears youI'd rather be watching CSI!0

I love that shreddies advert...knitted by grannies! (don't actually like shreddies thou!)
Dusty - I didn't get the shoes. I couldn't bring myself to buy them when the ones I already have do function so long as you have plastic bags on your feet as well (inside the shoe not outside). The ones I like are walking type shoes from clarks (told you Pigpen wouldn't approve) and they're gortex so very waterproof. They're £50 and my dad has given me half the money towards them. I'll try again next time i'm in town.
I found a great pair of boots in a charity shop, cost me £8 and they're brill for walkies in the mud & on the moors. Nothing flash to look at thou.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

I don't want it to be half term either! Or pancake day, DS2 has just asked if I am making pancakes, pesty nursery, I just wouldn't have told them.
Last night DH was bored, so he went through a number of his long term junk boxes and actually THREW THINGS AWAY without being nagged! I went through some stuff as well and found my long lost driving photocard so a result all round. The boys tidied the playroom too without tears and histeria. Has something happened and I have missed it? Did Pigpen send round the hitsquad to threaten them all?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
I need to make a start on the kitchen, but I can't be bothered.
I'm going to make myself another brew first, anyone joining me? :coffee:
Need some socks too, my feet are freezing.

WEETABIX LATEST NEWS...
They are to be used as flood and sea defences to prevent coastal erosion and protect homes!!
In eastern countries prone to adverse weather conditions they are to build houses out of them.
And in Iraq they built bomb shelters out of them!! reinforced with shredded wheat!!
Armoured tanks only need a 1mm layer of wet weetabix slathered over the outside and left to bake in the desert for 5 minutes..
Who needs kevlar??? Soak your thermals in weetabix solution (1 part weetabix 2 parts milk) and leave to dry in the exact position you wish to wear them in.. police vests just have lots of pockets.. each with a wet weetabix in and left to dry! Fill the cavity between your bicycle tyre and inner tube with weetabix solution prepared as above .. voila.. no punctures.. EVER.
Make yourself an excuse for being 3 hours late for anything .. just tell them you had to clean weetabix from a *childs hair/dish/carpet/sofa/curtain/pet!!!

Well despite my horrific injury...*glares at unfeeling pigpen*...I have soldiered on, and did the ironing while drinking my brew.
I'm off now to do a lot of this...
