LO deposited at the nursery, stuff for pancakes bought. I've never actually made them so if they do taste like chamois leathers i can disguise them with the maple syrup i bought:D Ooh i should have bought bacon! I loved that when i was in America, pancakes, maple syrup and bacon for breakfast:rolleyes:

Just going to have some lunch, then i may do the floors if i can be bothered:o

Shirley isn't it funny how somebody's else's house nearly always looks better than your own? And I love rats, we used to have 3 when my children were young.

Aimee I hope life eases off for you soon.

Thank you for the kind words everyone, nice to know it's not just me ;)

My shopping was ordered for 10 - 12. It came at 12.35. As you can appreciate, today was not the day for my shopping to come late. The delivery "boy" is still in one piece, but only because he apologised so nicely. I've also rung customer services to complain about something else. And managed to put everything away at the same time as starting to cook lunch, which is nearly ready.

I feel quite shaky now, probably a combination of low blood sugar and temper.

Might have a nap this afternoon :D

I'm here and watching you all :p :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm not posting as much anymore as I'm really trying to work on my time management. I'm planning on starting a degree soon now that we finally have the money "spare" to pay for it so I'm spending loads of time ATM doing surveys/competitions to earn money, scouring the internet for information about various things and Flying and working out!

For those of you who are new here and/or are feeling overwhelmed I'd like to say this :
    IT GETS EASIER!!!!
There is absolutely no WAY I could have considered going back to uni to do a degree if it wasn't for this thread teaching me that little and often is better than a sprint once a week when it comes to cleaning or over cleaning like I was doing and insisting it had to be kept at that standard! I used to be a "show home perfect" housewife (everything had its place and if it didn't there was hell to pay and never a speck of dust anywhere if I could help it) but now I've learnt that I need to chill out, accept that no-one can live in a showhome perfect house when they have kids &/or OH's &/or pets and get on with more fun things like photography! ;) The atmosphere in the house has changed considerably as a result and its a much more pleasant place to be :o:o

Also I've found that I've got plenty of time "free" to spend time earning money through surveys etc, socialise with friends, sit and play games with ex-OH and DD (yes we're still living together :o ), take photos (hobby of mine that I'm starting to indulge properly instead of only on special occasions!) and take time out for ME so I can do whats best for me. BTW thanks Pigpen for the DVD recommendations..I ordered 3 Davina DVDs from Amazon while I had the money and I'm currently working at the power of 3 work out doing the whole routine:eek:! Between that and stopping the snacking and alcohol I've lost 7lbs in 2 weeks :D:j:D .

So a big THANK YOU to every Flyer past present & future...you've changed my life and now I'm making even more changes under my own steam :D:T:T:T:T:T

Nursery complained about Tiddles again!! Apparently she refused point blank to sit down at story time and kept wandering about.. and talking.. don't know where she gets that from!?!?!? I just laughed!!

DD4 (Jb) is happy today.. her bestestest friend, M, is back at school after being off sick for a few days.. the mad thing is she is an identical twin and though Jb likes P.. M is her favourite.. true to form.. P was off monday to Friday last week.. when she came back on Friday M went off until today. Anyway.. I'm glad she is back because Jb is now a happy little pink thing.. :D

The banana I ate yesterday has almost killed me now.

Afternoon all, having a fabulous day here! Finally the cold seems to be on the way out so feel more human like.

Polly & Pigpen - I have days like that too, I can honestly feel my blood boiling and PP I'm the same a pen, shoes, anything and I can go off. Then 10 mins later I can feel fine.
Poohbear - hope you enjoyed your lunch
Aimee - sounds stressful, glad the scream helped, make sure you eat something proper!

Meant to ask when you were all talking about birds - we have squirrels here that have taken all my bird feeders and smashed them for the nuts and ripped up the fat balls, can you get squirrel proof ones? We do get a lot of birds if I chuck stuff on the floor but then the dogs eat it so need something hanging. Any tips???

Got lots done but kitchen had a scrub on Sunday so only needed a good S&S really. Ironing done but only took 5 mins as keeping on top of it. Got about a third of the bedroom wall painted, might con DH to help me later.

    Thanks for that one Nicki.
I am moving house soon (one rented place to another) - and TODAY I am going to get the ladder out and get up into the loft and see if the boxes we used last time are still usable (I have a horrible feeling that they may be all damp and useless....) So - am going to be surrounded with an increasing pile of boxes again (I feel exhausted just thinking about it)

Nicki lovely to hear from you and see a lovely, positive post - well done you! I've had problems with getting obsessed about the housework in the past, I really thought that I had to be the prefect housewife but what a waste of time! Like you say little and often is great and leaves time for life basically! Glad your enjoying things, great to see you so positive!
