Shirley I must agree with the others, that sitting room is lovely, I love the table aswell
but I am not allowed centre tables because I end up with bruises where I walk into them
oh and they become a dumping ground........:o
Right living room was cleaned within an inch of it's life yesterday inc wiping walls, skirting boards etc so all that needs doing is vacuuming (which we are doing 3 times a day at the minute, bloomin' dog!!) oh and a little grimey bit on the TV unit I must have missed which is bugging me nowso I might tackle another unpacking box after study time is done, not going to sisters now hence had time to pop on here. Need to sort some emails and pay a few bills, then off to take my friend to the dentist and see little Matthew
then back to study
, after coffee and a cuddle of course
One day I might be more organised...........

Back from nursery trip. DD2 thought it would be good idea to step off the buggy board whilst Mummy was pushing the buggy - result two very dirty knees (luckily no cuts but think they will bruise). Lunch club sorted and paid for this month so another job done.
Have phoned the hair place and they cannot do the only saturday I am not at work so phone the other more expensive hairdressers and booked a cut and blowdry (so will have to buy a dye and do it myself as they would charge £70:eek: ). Still at least as its on the day of the do I will not have to worry about styling it myself:D . I wanna do smokey eye make up for the evening do, anyone know of any good makeup tip books or websites that may be of use? Thought about having it done where I had my eyebrows waxed but its £20 and I'd rather spend that on make-up!
Still waiting for the dresses I ordered to be delivered, both companies taken the money so where are they.
Stewing steak in slow cooker, popped to shop and got the couple of bits I needed so will make cake later.
Lounge not too bad and did window and nets in there last week:D .
Coffee first me thinks.
Shirley - lounge looks fab - great floorboards, did you do them??
GnB - I would take him back 10 days is a long time with it showing no sign of stopping.0 -
Well.. I am now not going to the governors training thing today.. DS1 being a kn0bhead as usual and I can't trust him and hubby enough to leave them home alone.. HE is however having his room sanitised.. and he is doing it..
I decided to eat before heading off to the PO.. give the doddering old biddies chance to get their pennies out and buzz off to do their shopping.. mind you if theyare anything like my gran their shopping will be done by now and they will be at home!
ooooh and I SO need a shower.. my armpits have hygiene issues!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I've managed to do kitchen and the utility room. I even hoovered the utility room...well sucked up all the dog hair thats around the bottom of the machines.
Just having a coffee and some chocolate.
I've got my last load in the WM, just need to hoover through..(yuck!) and I was going to tidy the top of the piano and some shelves that are in the dining room, I might leave them till loungeroom day cause thats when I dust through, but I might tackle them when I get back from town....I'm start to flag....
Right going to finish my coffee, have a wee and go into town, then I'll see how I feel after that!0 -

Morning all. Well what a great start to the day. After dealing with 2 sick kids from thursday till sunday, and just the little one still off nursery, hubby got sick this morning and stuffed up all my plans for flying round the kitchen! Had to get my neighbour to take DD1 to the school bus and then had to drive him to the medical centre on his camp (20 minutes driving away) then run round camp trying to find someone from his work to tell them he was sick (their phone was engaged for 20 minutes before we set off). Finally got home with DD2 and hubby in tow (both coughing and sneezing and shivering and complaining!) and am waiting for his boss to phone me back so here goes with what i want to do today

Morning all
Lovely room ShirleyMakes mine look like a hovel....no matter how much you try to tidy and clean if everything is old (secondhand, not antique) then it never really looks up to much.
Two loads of washing hung round indoors, keeps raining out there.
Waiting for Asda shopping, I hope they get it right this time - there have been a few mistakes lately. I might have to try Tesco again but I stopped having them before because of the mistakes.
I did the kitchen/diner yesterday as well as the bathroom so I've just S&Sd it this morning.
I like pancakes but I hate cooking them so we're not having any.
Feeling angry for no particular reason so I'm trying to calm down so I don't shout at the dog for nothing....0 -
((Pollybear)), i hate it when that happens. I try and remove myself to a quiet place for 5 mins if its possible or i may kill someone:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
