Back again...have to brag cause I've managed to make a cuppa, have a loo, put the DW, TD and WM on, of course I need a rest now...
DD2 is up, whether she can keep quiet enough not to disturb anyone is another thing!!!
  • Morning all, I thought I'd do the kitchen before sitting in front of the computer rather than the other way around, so kitchen is just about done.

It's amazing what difference a month can make. This is the lounge at the beginning of Jan, and then how it is now.

Your room looks great. Makes me want to tackle the lounge!! Love your table.

I've taken one load out TD, put another load in and put another load in WM. Just waiting for DW to finish. Oh fed the dog and gave DD2 a stern talking to!

    Morning

Shirley Your lounge is lovely, love the fireplace, the table, the floor, everything.
Good Luck with the building work LG it's an upheaval but it'll be worth it.
Good Luck today Serena you'll be fab!

I've already S&S'd my kitchen this morning so it's all shiny and smelling fresh. Got work today till 2pm, then I'm gonna do the rest of my dailies when I get in, make tea, then have pancakes (I cheated and bought ready made from Sainsburys :o ) but at least they'll be edible unlike mine last year, I just couldn't get them to work at all.

    make beds
    S&S kitchen
    hoover through
    bring bin in
    S&S living room
    empty DW
    buy gas/elec
    buy phone credit

    Evening routine
    make littleys pack up
    make my pack-up
    make tea
    load DW
    S&S kitchen

TediousTuesdays - Lovely Living Rooms, Sunny Lounge, Devilish Den and Safe Stairs
    Level One
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
    Level Two
Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level

    Level Three
    Dust anything above eye level
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe

Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
Clean any ornaments, mirrors, clocks or other dust collecting collections
    Extra Mission:
As usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these

ŸClean windows in these areas, curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
ŸCheck where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
ŸClean out the vacuum cleaner, the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable
MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY’RE COMPLETELY DRY!

    Plus I need to:-

Make a stew for DH to take to MIL tomorrow when they see funeral director
    Make coffee cake
    Ironing (and lots of it)

Right best get a move on and get DD2 ready for nursery before they kill each other. They are both in mass wipe each other up mode - which means mummy is getting wound up twice as fast:mad:

Kimberley i had one of those boxes you put water in. They are good, saves faffing about with freezing stuff.

I think i got mine from Betterware.

    Thank you Holly :)
  • Managed to grab an hours sleep so am feeling a bit groggy but at least I know that I've minimised the kitchen cleaning for later by shifting all thats moveable

Shirley - fantastic lounge and well done you on all the decluttering - bet you feel fabulously relaxed in there now.
Shell - have the littles killed each other yet?
Dusty - happy belated birthday to your DS (sorry I forgot to say yesterday)
Frankie - see, sometimes jetlag has its advantages :D

Has anyone seen Nicki? She hasn't been on here for a while. Hope you're OK missus x
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Just realised I am gonna have to cancel my hair appointment today! No-one to watch DD1 (had booked DD2 into lunchclub so I didnt have to worry about running late). Half term next week so no chance of getting it done then with 2 in tow. Typical, I wanted it to look all sleek and un-grey for DH work due.

And no they have called a truce for 10 mins;)

Morning all, a lot of early birds on today!

Shirley i want your living room, its lovely!:D
Just going to make a start on the kitchen, will try for level 2 or 3 today. Will need to S&S bathroom again:mad: It was sparkly yesterday but LO still has diarrhea, thats about 10 days now? How long before i should take her back to the doctors? She was there on thursday and they said it was probably just gastroenteritis, but it seems to have been going on for ages.

Hows DS's allergic reaction pigpen? Is he any better?
