I asked the witchy girl who'd been to play if she'd seen where Jemma had put it when she was at our house. I asked in front of her mum who really laid into her daughter and said 'i bet you've hidden it haven't you'. Well she had, she'd put it down the back of the wardrobe. I knew she was trouble.
Mudbath - what a nightmare! I'm finally happy with DDs friends (she's now 14) but one of the mothers is a nightmare. She called her daughter a fat b*tch so she's stopped eating, what a surprise eh? Now she's calling her an anorexic b*tch.I could do with some wise words of wisdom. I dont know the mother well enough to speak to her. I tell to hug DDs friends and tell them they are all gorgeous. What else can I do???0 -

I've got a 'friend' who calls her DD fat too. She even took her daughter shopping and made her try on clothes that were too small so she'd think she should lose weight. It drives me insane. I've told her she'll give her DD hangups but she knows bets...it makes my blood boil. Incidently, in this case the mum is stick thin and thinks she's fat!0 -
Pancakes made, eaten and kitchen clean!
Not doing much else today - or tomorrow.
We have OH's cousins funeral tomorrow so will be out all day.
Hope you all have a good night and productive day xx0 -
Evening, I'm just sitting down with my tea after doing that little lot below and catching up on your goings on.
Shirleypark, gorgeous room and a great job of that floor.
Aimee and others who've had the need to type in CAPITALS at size 7 today, have a scream then a hug.
Nicki, lovely to hear you sounding so upbeat. Wish you luck x
AnW'smum, biggest hug I can muster but don't get too close I've just eaten loads of garlic.
I've not had pancakes even though mine are pretty good, just couldn't be faffed this evening.
Had the slowest day ever at work again and I think tomorrow will be the same. There's hardly any work to do at the moment and it makes getting out of bed at 6.30 seem pointless. Moan moan moan. Can I come to work with you tomorrow embb instead? I've got loads of energy!
I'm going to scoot and do my tea dishes. I'm in a 'twisty' mood as my mother calls it. Contrary and spoiling for an arguement. Look out cats!
Catch you all tomorrow, enjoy your evening and Wednesday.

Feeling totally befuddled after spending an hour (AN HOUR!!!! ) reading an MSE thread on mystery shopping... I signed up with a company yesterday and it is all so complex with tax / NI etc.
ALso been looking for a job today and not really found anything- maternity leave is running out (the money has already stopped!) and we're definitely feeling the pinch. (I can't go back to my old job because we moved house!)
DD finally slept through 2 nights on the run... (at 8 months- it's taken a while...) and for some reason I'm more knackered than ever.
Not got much done today... Hmmm. I realise I say that every day! Still, every little helps I suppose!

DS3 just came down complaining he is hungry so just gave him weetabix - he has never done this before so I expect it was true.
My kids are actually being fine, it was all the ones I was sewing with in DS3's class today. I think the problem is I have helped in school for too many years now and just don't find it interesting anymore.
Feelling really tired this evening - I did go to be late so that must be it. Just waiting for WM to finish so I can put school troussers on the AGA for tomorrow.
Poohbear - that is very impressive giving up alcohol for lent.
AnW'smum hope you rest easy tonight hunThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
