    Evening all,

I have finally caught up with the thread -
shirley - lounge is looking fab as with other comments I do like your table especially as it opens to hide stuff in.
embb - sounds like your neighbours havent changed are you still keeping your log book?
mudbath - I think we have been looking at the same shoes I just cant afford them yet so go out in wellies when its raining.
nicki -good to hear from you, you are sounding very positive.
G&B - with you on the weetabix, my two loved it as babies and I have tried not to buy it since but they still really like it, I hate it.
bountiful- good luck with the attic we are to be moving in a couple of months and I am dreadng going up into mine.
    raph - liked the icon.
michelle - ((((hugs)))) after a day like that
skintscotslass - not yet into teens with my two but I am dreading it, my DD1 did have a girl in her P1 class who wore a pedometer to school so her mum could make sure "she walked enough to stop her getting fat" the girls is now over weight as she sneaks out of school at lunch with her dinner money and scoffs chocolate and crisps the school have tried everything but the mother denies that her daughter would do that!!!!

Hopefully I have remembered everyone for those I havent have a hug or a cuppa, has anyone seen tia over the last few days hope she is okay?

I have crossed off my list from yesterday (once I found it) and my house is ready for the estate agent tomorrow not sure which rooms he will want to take photos off but they are all ready for him, hopefully it wont take long to sell - two children and a tidy house dont go.

Anyway going to say goodnight, I havent posted a list yet as not sure what I will need to do tomorrow but work is only a half day on a wed so will catch up during the afternon.

    Night all

  • Evening all.

Hope you've all had a good day and those who were ill are feeling a bit better, especially the little ones

Well, I had a restless night (hasn't the wind been awful?) then wakened with a migraine starting, took a Naramig and managed to get through the day, but have felt really tired all day.

    What I've managed is:
TediousTuesdays - Lovely Living Rooms, Sunny Lounge, Devilish Den and Safe Stairs
    Level One
[strike]Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must[/strike]
    Level Two
[strike]Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level[/strike]
    Level Three
    Dust anything above eye level
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe
Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
Clean any ornaments, mirrors, clocks or other dust collecting collections
    Extra Mission:
As usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
ŸClean windows in these areas, curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
ŸCheck where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
ŸClean out the vacuum cleaner, the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable
MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY’RE COMPLETELY DRY!
    Dailies:

    [strike] DW[/strike]
    [strike] WM[/strike]
    [strike] BM[/strike]
[strike] Feed dogs, cats and fish[/strike]
    [strike] Walk dogs[/strike]
    [strike] Groom dogs and cats[/strike]
[strike] SS Bathroom and Shower room[/strike]

    Work:

[strike] Neath - three candidates for observations[/strike]

When I got home, DS and I went to the gym. I'm the world's worst swimmer and have done very little exercise for the last two months because of the asthma problems, but I did manage one feeble length and then went in the steam room (good for the chest) before we came home. I made dinner and DS and I ate, then I had to go and collect poor old DH who didn't finish work until 7.30 tonight again (no pay rise in three years, rubbish pay anyway, but he's looking for something better)

I did some clearing up then DH finished it when he had eaten, so kitchen staying nice (we had words yesterday about the mess he's left )

I've just sat and watched TV this evening, although there's a pile of ironing. My colleague called at 9.10 tonight to talk about work, but DH said I was in the bath and going straight to bed. :A And she wants to get together at the weekend to go through some paperwork for the new programme! Last time we did that, she was at my house for five and a half hours and we didn't even have lunch. I'm not doing it again, because we don't get time in lieu or pay, and my free time is precious enough. Thanks to this thread (who said they wouldn't have been able to go to uni without it), I'm getting a bit more of that back, so I'm not giving it up again!!!

Oh well, once again too late for knitting, but my pancakes were lovely.;)

Is it just me or is dried weetabix the hardest substance in the world? Took me ages to scrub a blob off from under the table
g&b - have to agree with youthere, worse than superglue. Though they did an "experiment" on Brainiac where they compared serious leftovers of weetabix, cornflakes and muesli in a sink with dished left int them for like days, and the worst one was cornflakes  It was very funny though, they had to hacksaw bits off and chisel and stuff to get the dishes even out of the sink:rotfl:

AnW's Mum - rats cant believe I missed the maltesers

right will finish thread tomorrow, need to get lights out before DH comes in, I am in the huff and dont want to talk about it so I need to pretend to be asleep :rotfl: otherwise we will have an argument and I dont want that either.
