Good morning everyone,
PP - is there anyway you could maybe sort out some investment ideas for your sister, something that maybe could invest half the money she has in something that she cant touch for a few years - that way she will still have something to 'waste' on this new chap, but will have some of it tucked away for if/when he leaves? If he does surprise us all, then they will have some money in a few years to do something with, if he doesnt, she wont have lost everything? Hope all goes ok for you tomorrow xx
dlb - think another WELL DONE is required!!!
tierdmum :hello:

Shez - did you see the comp i entered the other day? Was for a tractor!!!
Well, nothing much happening here - we've just had a breakfast of biscuits and tea and planning on spending the day in my PJs!!! Will be doing a lunch of roast chicken with loads of veggies, and will be doing a bit of a clean today, but as i have no work tomorrow, will keep some for then, so i dont get too bored!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning everyone,
well i managed to get up on time this morning unlike yesterday
I woke at 5am and had a nice hot shower and a cup of coffee to wake me up
so now i`m buzzing away lol.
I even managed to have a bowl of porridge before i left for w**k which is very unusual for me. The bm and coffee maker were both on timers so i woke to some lovely aromas.
It`s very cold and a bit windy up here but at least it`s dry for a change, when i get home i look forward to a nice walk with the dogs and another shower to warm me up and then a lovely liver and bacon casserole from the freezer before i put my feet up.
Catch up later
Have a cracking Sunday everyone!

morning all,
Beautiful sunny day here, blowing nicely too, so have got our bedding in the wash, will hang it out once done, DD is still in her bed, but will get her to change it when she gets up.
I had ordered a huge bit of brisket with my sainsbugs delivery, but they were out of stock, so popped into sainsbugs yesterday, and got a HUGE roasting joint of beef reduced to £6, it will do us lots of meals, date was up yesterday, but will still be fine, so having that today with squash cabbage, maybe sweede and yorkies. Yum.
DD is out with her dad today, so we will put meat in and go out walking, will get all pots and veg done before we go, so its easy when we get back.
I have woken with a terrible stiff neck, cannot move my head much, its something I suffer from a lot, and just have to put up with it till its gone
We got the daily mail yesterday, ( don't normally get it ) but it had a free DVD in, quite a harrowing film, so sat and watched that yesterday afternoon, it was good, I will pass it onto my mum.
My lakeland vouchers came yesterday, so I had a good spend up, bought a loaf tin, a spring loaded cake tin and clip and lock boxes, a slotted spoon, and I still have a fiver left.
I am going to try making bread by hand, we eat very little bread, one loaf a week so its not worth me getting a BM, but if any one has a recipe for hand made, could you pass it on ?
Am also going to try impossible pie (Aussies I think ) need to get some bits for it, so will report back.
Have good sundays all xxx0 -

busy sunday agin for me as still havent finished stripping kitchen and oh has managed to get white paint all over my new kitchen cuboards and my shiny black floor even though i put dustsheets down so he wouldnt eerrrrrrrr.
cat decided to have a look in the paint tray and then proceeded to walk it all over my black worksurfaces, so spent ages trying to get paint out of a long haired black (and white) cat last night.

Morning everyone
Bright and sunny here. Slept very well last night, without any wine to assist. Just going to go and jump in the shower.
I think a walk is on the cards.

Just had our tea, done the dishes, showered and Miss Marple is due on in 45 mins time. I love Agatha Christie. Piorot would have to be my favourite character though. Off to have a bit of a surf. Enjoy the rest of the day and I hope the weather improves soon. ByeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning Everyone
Havent been around for afew days as I'm full of cold and have had the worst earache.
My week is all out of wack now because I spent Thur and Fri lying on the sofa. DH helped me do the cleaning under protest yesterday so today I need to go to Aldi because we are out of fresh stuff. Later I'm going to have to tackle the ironing pile and I'm so behind with the washing I might even have to use the TD.
On my way to Aldi I'm dropping off DD old high-chair to a friends mum. My friend is going back to work on Wed as her mum is looking after her 10 month old twins 3 days a week. I don't envy her that task but have said that if she needs a break I'm just up the road.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0
