Just think of all the different categories we could have!!

OOOhhh we could talk about our wombs:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, just to be on topic I found a baby pyrex today at the car boot sale 20p and matched it up with the mother that I got when I got married almost 37 years ago and yes, I still have a womb:rolleyes:

Not sure you got an answer on this? I'd go with the taught, to save on the fabric, and it would look very neat.

NEgirlie: I've just realized I missed the mannequin chat: are you a closet mannequin lover too? Gotta go back and hunt for a pic of your Next one now, as haven't got Pipkin's eagle eye. Aren't they fab?
Edited to say: found it, and left a comment. How fab it all looks. I can't find a corner of my home that looks that good.

Pipkin: are you decoupaging a mannequin? Have you seen mine: this is my favourite thing I've done of all.

All: Chair update: *(U(*P_&_ staples *&&^ ouch &^ *U*(&*& why on earth* *&%%$£p($£"(_

Ican dream, I've not seen your mannequin, but I'd love to!

I've ordered the one from NEXT, and thought I could maybe even paint it if I'm not so keen on it.. what I'd really like to do is get a vintage prom dress (lots of tulle and net) that I could display on it, but I've no idea how to get one.. or find one that would fit, cheaply (very cheaply!).

Hi Mary thanks :) .. its 34cms high so not to big! but dont really have a space in the bathroom for it walls are funny in there .. the only thing i thought i could use it for would be for spices in the kitchen! .. My spice rack doesnt have any room left on it .. Or in our hallway for trinkets etc ..

Okey dokey, here's my finished bag courtesy of a Marks & Spencers curtain from my stash of fabrics. I went a tad overboard after raiding my bits and bobs tin and used part of a broken bracelet for the button and some tiny crystal beads for the rose centres.
I did have a few scary moments when making the bag, especially at the end when I had to pull it inside out. I was sure I had sewn it completely wrong and back to front, but VOILA, it was ok!!!

My goodness - that is lovely and ripe for shabbying. I would use this in a small loo/bathroom area. You could use the cupboard for spare loo roll and hand towels or flannels. The shelves could display some pretty ceramic items.
