I've got a sister like that :D but I love her ..... just joking nm :)

Interesting idea having a forum, please count me in. I know I don't contribute often but I'm a regular reader and when I finally move house in a couple of weeks I'll be using a lot of the ideas I've [STRIKE]pinched from[/STRIKE] found on this thread :D
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

:j I would love to be included too please. Won a dresser on Ebay which is waiting to be shabby-chic -ed and am now addicted to looking for stuff on the local bargain finder as well as MSE, especially this thread lol.

I think it would be lovely - I sometimes feel rather constrained in what I can say, as we aren't allowed to 'chat', but people do begin to feel like friends. But I wouldn't have a clue how to do it.
Just to keep on topic of shabby chic -ing so I don't post a 3rd bad one tonight :p, the chair has come on. If anyone else is thinking of diy upholstery, you need some serious pliers, as the staples are a bloody pain.
Cooltrikerchick: (or should we rename you Coolngirlietrikerchick?: your fabric from Cath kidston is EXACTLY the fabric I bought in Bicester. It is gorgeous. Even the girl in the shop (ooo, she must have been all of, um, THIRTY FOUR :rotfl:) said she hadn't seen 'that one before and wasn't it beautiful'. I think it would look stunning on your thingy (to adopt a rather nice word from another thingy). See, can't help myself. Still in a silly mood. I promise I'll behave tomorrow.
