There is a glorious house across the road from us and I made my husband park the car on that side of the road (despite there being a space outside our house) so I could take my time getting the shopping out of the boot and have a nosy at the same time!
    My husband nearly disowned me.

I am so glad I'm not the only one! I have been known to tell my hubby to slow down when he's driving past houses with their curtains open at night just so I can be nosey.:o He says I should've been a meer cat!

Where did you get your kitchen signs from?

Thank you for sharing your pix, I'm very inspired :j (and drooling with envy- lol!)

We live opposite a park and it seems obligatory to have a nosey in our row of houses as people park and walk past. It's amazing how people will stand right on their tip-toes just to get a good look. Some even walk up the drive.I always feel like waving at them!
I don't mind really though as I used to do it before we lived here.We used to walk up the road and have a nosey to see which house we liked best!

Thought you might like to see my latest effort (3rd sewing effort ever!) at "shabby chic" gifts. This is for a friend of mine. I stuffed it with the inside bits of an old cushion (as suggested by someone here!) and dropped some fragranced oils onto it to make it smell nice.

lol im as nosy as the next and love having a sly peek when people leave their curtains open and lights on - cant understand why people do it though as i always make sure the curtains or blinds are closed before the lights go on (unlike my neighbours who have sex on the living room floor - well they did until i put a note through the door warning then they were putting on a show for the whole cul-de-sac and that i didnt fancy an early sex-ed talk with my kids whos bedrooms looked over said room!!) EWWWWW!! pretty decor is nice to see but ugly bottoms are not!! :rotfl:
