At least the first guy isn't being greedy like the other one.
What would he have been charged in fees for the £299.99 listing and FVFs for his fake sale?
I'm tempted to email him and ask if the £150 start price is correct! :rotfl:
After last time, paranoia may set in!
Aw the poor guy.
Last time he must have had loads of watchers through this thread, thought he would bait them towards the end of the auction by placing a shill bid - yet no one was enticed. Then he had to pay auction fees as the shill bid won. Then he felt he had to cover his bum by leaving himself and shill bidder feedback. Then he sticks it back on Ebay to try to get rid of it again, at 50% off. Then he gets loads of watchers through this thread.......
Get where this is going?
The poor, poor guy.

Hello everyone
Does anyone know where I can buy a nice "shabby" teacosy?:D
I don't generally use my teapot alot but recently my mil has been around, looking after the kids, and she does. As I don't have a teacosy she has wrapped my kitchen towels around the pot to keep it warm while brewing........ now I have unattractive, tea stained pale blue towels! Am a bit cross about that so before me and her fall out over a towel I need to find a teacosy!!
TIA
:TP.S. Keep going with the thread all you regulars - it makes brilliant reading and there's been some great tips and blogs to look at. Many thanks"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
Hello Shabby Chicers!
I suppose our house is very shabby, don't know too much about the chic bit.
We are currently renting this place so can't paint and wallpaper the place in the way in which we would like. And don't even get me started on the kitchen, which is fetching shades of 1970's brown and yellow.
Even so I am addicted to buying bits and bobs from charity shops (we have three great ones in our village) and tarting them up a bit. Last week I got a lovely rocking chair for £10. I am planning to paint it up when the weather is a bit better as there is no room to leave it to dry in our house. I will try and post some photos of my finds soon. Good luck with finding nice, timeless things for your house.
Oh and if anyone knows of a place to find battered up pine dressers cheaply, please do let me know!Anyone fancy buying my degree? It will only cost you £18k.
May grocery challenge - target = £140
£2 coin savers club - started April 1st - so far £28!:D

Can you sew? It would be fairly simple to sew a tea cosy using your tea stained tea towels maybe. You could pick one up at a charity shop and just trace around it for the shape, and then recover it. I started one last week, will see if I can work out how to put instructions on my blog before I go any further.0 -
