I am always seeing little tables like this in fake mahogany.
Ah, that must have been it thank you. What a clever idea!
Maypole the view from your house is absolutely amazing. I can only dream of having a house with that sort of view ... I dream of living by the sea.
Everytime I look through photos on this thread I get inspired, but like lots, am on a VERY tight budget. Need to carry on scouring the charity shops!

Thank you for your post. We live in a simple terraced house but with a fab view.
We all love charity shops on here, most of my little side tables and bits and pieces came from salerooms, I think you get quality that way and something different to the high street.0 -
i only realy tend to buy in charity shops.. as i cant afford to pay full price for anything and i also like things to be more of a one off instead of someone coming into my house and saying "oh did you get that from ikea, woolworths etc!" or "so and so has got the same picture as you!".. i hate that
thats why charity shops are the best !!!!!!!0 -
had my cath kidson catalogue through today, just for ideas of coarse.... blinking noras the prices:eek:

Thank you for all the votes ladies and the dinner party suggestions
I might go for a wander around TK Maxx in a bit as I have not had my weekly fix this week
My kitchen should be finished in time for my Daughters 9th birthday and it would be lovely to have an old fashioned tea party for her! I am quite excited lol.0 -
i've just had another thought for my Harry Potter-chic study (when i get it!) a writers roll top bureau. I saw one from a link here somewhere, i think it started life out as an ex - breadbin! How lovely just to paint it and have a little roll top bureau!
