Been round the charity shops today, in search of a old fashioned tea trolley and I found one in the last one I went to Yay!!
It is now at the top of my landing, just outside the bathroom door, I have my towels folded on bottom shelf and baskets on the top with soaps and bathbombs in! It is perfect as a shelfing unit for my bathroom stuff.
Thank you cooltricker for your inspiration a couple of weeks ago!! :T'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

i got my F&B chart on tuesday and my husband was rolling his eyes as i got all excited about looking at the new colours!!
was going to get new cupboard fronts for my kitchen, they are pretty rammy basic kitchen doors which we painted cream as a quick fix when we moved in last year.. but im thinking i might save my money and just re paint them again but thinking of doing them in cornforth white.. i already have the brushed silver cup handles, and am going to get wood worktops from ikea..
what do you think of this idea then..do you think the cornforth white would look nice with the oak worktop.. and open oak shelves.. or should i just repaint them cream???0 -
hey you keep up your own end  :rotfl:
Our tk maxx (Plymouth) is fab, I could spend way too much in there!!!!! on the bottom floor follow round as if you are going in the lift and thats where their reduced bit is (pass the bathroom stuff).
Don't forget to check out the charity shops...... I havn't been for a whilegetting withdrawal symptoms!!!! If you get time head to Mutley (follow signs from centre, its not far) its just one road but there must be at least 8 charity shops there, I always manage to find something! Good luck and make sure you let us all know what you get x
Hope this helps.....
LOL
I am coming to [STRIKE]steal[/STRIKE] sample your wares in Plymouth :rotfl:
Thanks for the tips

Hi all
I haven't posted on this thread for a bit, but have been lurking, and love all your pics and ideas. Just wanted some advice...
Nine years or so after moving in, we're finally going to paint our horrible hall, and inspired by all your comments I'm very tempted to go for F&B cornforth white. However, we have a horrible understairs cupboard situation. We need the cupboards to throw all the coats/shoes/rubbish in, but they are a cheap hardboard on a thick chipboard base (done on the cheap by the previous owners). They look flat, uninteresting, boring. I've covered them with the children's a/w from school, and that looks better, but they still let everything down and if we're doing the hall I'd like to freshen them up. Ideally I'd like a carpenter to make doors :rotfl:
...that's not gonna happen cos of the cost.
I've searched the library for ideas, searched online for ideas, but there's very little inspiration for a hall. Does anyone have any ideas for how I can make these cupboards look good fairly cheaply: the F&B paint is going to take up most of the budget. Would it be best to choose a contrasting F&B paint for the woodwork and cover the doors as well as the skirting boards in that. What would look good with the cornforth white?
Sorry it's a bit rambling. Not well, can't sleep, and been fretting about it. Any ideas would be really welcome... could post a pic if that would help though it may be embarrassing for me ...
